what show do you miss watching? is it on in reruns? perhaps on tv land? i just recently discovered that M*A*S*H is on our local history channel a couple of times a day and i am getting to watch reruns of "Murder, she wrote" on a local christian channel and have also been watching ' the A team'. The Cosby show is on during the daytime too as well as "FAME". Do any of these shows bring back memories? what shows do you miss?

Since you mentioned TVLand already, I believe your lineup must be different than mine!!! I live in Southeast of US & MASH is on usually 4 times a day. Cosby Show is on 3-4 times a day Sanford & Son are on atleast twice a day & one of my all time favorites Night Court comes on every morning. Good Times is on twice a day & 3rd Rock from the Sun is on also. Some of these are not all that great but they are light hearted & happier than some comedies that are on now. I think it is part due to the fact that they didn't have to be worried about being politically correct... they offended everyone but did it in such a way as not to be offensive. It was back in a day when people didn't get offended every time somebody opened their mouth... even when it was meant to be offensive. People knew who they were & didn't need to be babied through their emotional insecurities.

The comedies were so much more lighthearted. I never cared for Third Rock from the Sun, but at least it didn't have anyone forcing dogma down my throat. I do miss the D*ck van D*ke Show. TV Land is getting newer, not older in the shows they air now. Can you believe I had to put a * to type the name of that show?

3rd Rock was not one of my favorites either. I do find myself laughing at it now. I would love to see Scarecrow & Mrs King and maybe McGyver again. I enjoyed Murder She Wrote until that show was on 3 different stations here & I saw every show atleast 3 times. Then I felt a little OD'd. I know about the * thingy as half of what I'm trying to say won't go through & it's always the innocent stuff that catches me!!!

Nearly all the shows you mentioned bring back memories. I used to love The Cosby Show. Although it's not been gone from TV as long as you mention, I sure miss "Seinfeld". It was just the saddest day whenever it went off the air. I just miss all the characters' commentaries on what is happening in life. They did such a great job having shows on everyday things.
I do miss LA Law, a really old court/attorney/drama show. And of course, "I Love Lucy" although I catch the old reruns on TV land once in awhile.

My favorite old show was the old Dragnet show, not the colored one, but the old Black and White, but have not been able to get it, nor could I get the old Gunsmoke with Chester. I did not like the new old colored Gunsmoke. I also like Murder She Wrote." and the old Tv dramas like Starksy and Hutch, Peter Gunn, Perry Mason, and Ironside. I also liked the Perry Mason tV movies. (was he and Della Street having an affair? I wonder.
And we now have the Dvds for the Untouchables. Does not bring back memories, but i sure loved how Elliot Ness solved all these cases.

I wish that Scarecrow and Mrs. King would find a home on some networks to show their reruns. I don't even know if a lot of people remember that show. The Cosby Show, A-Team, MASH, Home Improvement, Matlock, all these have been airing on various channels here. The cable channels seem to take turns airing the reruns. I don't think I ever tire of seeing a Cosby Show rerun.

Seinfield and Friends will always be my favorite reruns, I'm sure they'll be on pretty much forever. I also enjoy watching the reruns of Little House on the Prarie and M*A*S*H on the hallmark channel. I miss The Mickey Mouse Club.

Golden Girls is a show that I really miss! Because it is made in America we don't get to see it very often, unless you have Sky. There are 5 series made of the Golden Girls but only 3 have been released in the UK, I would love it if they started repeating them again, I never get fed up with Golden Girls. I used to love the A Team! Wow that brings back memories! Do you remember Chips? Dukes of Hazard and there was a Japanese program called Monkey, I used to love that!

I'd like to see some reruns of THIRTY SOMETHING. I loved that show and it was set in Philadelphia which made it even more fun to watch.

I miss Happy Days. I haven't seen it in reruns yet but it seems likely that they will do it sometime.
Also, Northern Exposure. We loved that show. I would love to see it on TVland or Nick at Night cuz then I wouldn't have to wait an entire week between episodes.
Seinfeld's still on the air here, but if they ever took it off, I would miss it too.

i'm only 21 so i wasn't around when it orignially aired but "I love Lucy" is one of my all time favorite shows. When I was about 8-9 it was on Nick at Night. It's so crazy to me that Nick at night which should be "old shows" are shows that I grew up watching like "Home improvement". In my age of Nick and Night it was "I love Lucy", "Laverne and Shirley" and the "Brady Bunch" those shows. I wish they would still play those on tv mor often. I now have a rather large Lucy collection of movies and shows but I miss being able to plop on the couch and watch the others.
