A lot of critics of McCain claim that he is just like Bush and have throughout the campaign dedicate continually to link him to the President who happens to share the same party as him. Even in recent ads that aired after the last Presedential debate focused on this claim that he supported Bush 90% of the time. Well, what issues was it that he supported of Bush? We're they productive or not? Or is it just the gossip that he supported him at all.
Well, here is some food for thought.
The Bush family has done it's part by tying us into the United Nations. The Bill (s. 2433) sponsored by Obama will further tie us to the U.N. How is Obama different than Bush?
McCain voted "yes" to the Bail out. Obama voted "yes" to the bail out. How is Obama different than McCain?
McCain supports jobs leaving the US. Obama wants to send more money out of the US to other countries. How is Obama different than McCain?
It is quite clear that there is no actual difference between the two parties. Democrats and Republicans are the same. And further more if McCain, by his votes and actions, can be linked to Bush so can Obama.
As a citizen of the United Sates I raise these question so "We the people" will stop playing tennis with one hand tied behind our backs.

Thanks for taking the time to not even bother toanswer one of the questions and reiterate who are true supporters of Obama.
Cannot even for one minute face the facts.
And I am not sure who I am going to vote for on Nov 4th I just know who I will not.
So go blindly forth or begin to read up on stuff. This response you have laid forth is the reason why I have asked these quesitons in this post. Not as an attack, but as a discussion.
on the racial thing...Obama completely ignored McCain's request to address this topic when face to face during the last debate. It should be addressed by both candidates not only by one. I bet you have a rebuttal on that one, even though you brought it up.
Have a great day.

The hostility is not coming from my discussion because one the questions I have asked do not show highly upon either candidate. ANd two I pointed out this was a topic post for discussion, not arguments. It is a simple yes or no questions and why it is yes or no.
And again the answers to the questions of the topic were not addressed. If you feel discussions about anything and anyone that is not your point of view as being hostile and harrassing then it will be hard to understand just how much change we need as a soceity.
Have a lovely evening.

I hear this alot and the problem I see with it, is it's labeling ppl b/c their in the same group. Both McCain and Bush are white, older Republican men...they must be the same or so ppl think. Instead of judging McCain solely on his own merits they are lumping him in with someone else.
What I find most ironic is that when Obama's reverend came out with the whole God d*mn america speech ppl were offended when some ppl suggested that Obama had the same viewpoints...afterall they were not the same man. Despite the fact that Obama claimed this man as saying he was like an uncle, he attended this church for 20 years and he claimed the reverend as a mentor...yet they weren't the same. Talk about a double edged sword.
I don't doubt that McCain and Bush have things in common...afterall they are both Republicans, both served in the military and they both are family men but to lump them together as the same would be like saying Obama is a racist and anti-american like his reverend.

Very true. And I am glad you took the time to point out both sides of the fence concerning what happens when you only stereotype one set and not the other even though they are truly similar.
I think it takes someone who can look at both sides without feeling like they have to publicly defend someone who honestly we really know nothing about other than how they vote and what they sponsor as bills. (and I am speaking of both candidates).
Thank you for your honesty.
