Gomez peer is a bogus!

I think many of you have heard about Gomez peer! This website tempts you to install its peer software and letting it run in the background of your pc. The website says that the minimum payout is in $5.
It says that you need to do nothing. If your pc is just online then you are eligible to earn. It says you will be paid for every processed minute. When you install Gomez peer software, there comes a display board where you can see your online time, processing time and your total earning. And your account status.
Gomez peer is a cheat. It says your earning can be highest $45 per month. But $45 is a daydream with this software! You cannot even earn $5 in 5 years if you have a single pc! When you just install the software, it will process every other minute from your. But if you near the payout target of $5 (perhaps you have gone close to $5 in 4-5 years!) then it will process only 2-3 minutes in a day! And you know, you are paid only &0.001 for a processed minute! I have installed Gomez peer in 10 computers. But in the whole 24 hours, Gomez peer processes only 3/4 minutes with my 10 computers! I have decided to uninstall this bogus software! Have you anybody installed Gomez peer? What is your experience?

My experience is it does exactly what it says. I have had Gomez in the past and earned money from it. Just the other day it paid me $5 but that was from old referrals as I have long since taken it off.
The reason for taking it off was that I changed from dial-up to broadband and Gomez already had enough people on broadband in the UK so I got little work.
Check the site for people they really want. It is a mix of where you live in the world and what type of connection to the Net you have.
If they need you they will pay you well for doing absolutely nothing!

That's interesting. I might start promoting it again.
I stopped going for referrals after Gomez said that they enough broadband users in the UK and USA.
As 90% of all the traffic to my sites is from those countries there was not much point in promoting it.
Thanks for the heads up - I will look into it again.

i did not manage to even get my account activated. it was in pending mode for over 10 days. my online time rank moved from 80000+ to 30000+ and yet i am not activated. repeated emails to the admin yield no response so i am fed up with it and uninstall everything from my computer. good luck to those who are using it and have good experience but not for me.

Some days ago I did install Gomez PEER and checked... First of all I want to say that I pay for every megabyte of traffic of my internet, it is not unlimited. I pay a bit more 0.006 dollars per megabyte. After installing Gomez PEER I foung that it spends about 10 MBs of my traffic every hour! I calculated I found out that it spends more of my money than I can earn from it! I wrote them asking if it is definitely right. But they do not even look at their emails for support. What a unresponsibility! So I stopped using it.

You are absolutely right . I have experienced just like you . People can earn something by runing GomezPeer , but who will earn $45 from GomezPeer , he will spend $100 or above for internet charge . Now people can understand how much benifit in it.

I have GP installed on my computer for many years now. I like how it just sits there and one must not do anything. I think the speed with which one earns has to do with one's Internet connection. I have been paid $5 once and without even asking for it, as they just paid me!

Hello, Little_Boy.
I have joined the website and downloaded their software. Then I started running it, but there was some kind of problem with my account activation so the software was removed on the same day. I did not like their website, and it didn't seem to be a trustworthy website at all. However, I am sure that it must be paying, otherwise there wouldn't be so many people talking about it.
Perhaps you are facing some kind of error from the software. You should mail the staff and ask them what is wrong, because it is not what they have said. They said you could earn more, while you earn so low... Tell them this, see what happens. If they show no effort in helping you, then just leave the website.
Respectfully,
Munhozmib.

After reading the responses of people here I've decided that I will not join Gomez Peer. I planned to join the site before and actually signing up this day but after I came across this post I totally decided not to. It's been a debate on me as to sign in because I'm skeptical on the software that I have to install.

I installed it about a week ago and still pending and the only thing I don't like about it is that you have to wait to be activated. I really think it is sad that some people will never be activated. I really think they should know who they want right up front that way no one will wasted time with it. That my only complaint and I know the site does pay for people they want but some people they may have it on for months before the customer figures out they won't be activated and I really think that part of it is sad.

Who said it was bogus.
It was paying me. You will be paid for online time when you are active i.e. 10 cents per day.
And the processing time cost is $0.0005 not 0.001. Yes, the earnings are slow. But I am a verified used in 14 bussiness days and I am getting a minimum of half dollar daily. This is because of I had installed in three computers when I got paid.
If you are facing problems means, please check it with connection and computer.

Hi friend, i am really glad that you share this news with us so that no one will get cheated by gomez peer, i have not installed their software personally as i find it fishy that we can earn money just by installing their software and letting them run in the background of our pc. And i have heard people saying that they really take a long time to process their payout which is definitely not a plus point for me.

I joined and was activated very quickly. I don't leave it on 24/7 adn I make an average of 10 cents a day just for having it on. I got started on the 22nd of November and as of now I have made $1.42 not much but I'm not complaining since I don't have to do anything
It also depends where you are etc which could be why you weren't getting as much processing time.

I've installed yesterday this software on my computer and I think that is a scam, I don't know, after your explanation I will uninstall it right now! I don't want any software do anything that I don't know on my computer.. I think that it's a waste of bandwidth and time. Thanks for your discussion and for the information Little Boy
