We, my wife and I, watched this movie tonight. It was a very good movie. I found it quite heartwarming. To be succinct, women who have a problem with scantily clad women would still find it touching because Mrs. Henderson is not just some crazy old biddy. I recommend it. Rent it. Watch it. It was sweet.
Anyone else have commentary to add on this movie?

I considered recommending the movie to a friend of mine. His wife is a bit .. er.. particular about some things. (She caught him looking at "French Postcards" -- a term taken from Mrs. Henderson Presents -- and took a lot of offense.) The movie certainly humanizes Mrs. Henderson's motivations.

I really liked the movie when I saw it. It was tastefully done. Not at all crude as some might think. Judi Dench is a real talent. She is a class act all the way. It goes on my "I highly recommend list".

This is quite an old movie.. I tried watching it a few times, but I kept falling asleep.. I'm sorry, tome, I don't know how to get through that movie. I think that this movie is quite dull.. Sorry

3 years is "Quite Some Time Ago"? Oh, gosh, I must be ancient dirt as I am nearly 40, myself! Oh, the horrors of being ancient! :) (Have a good day, Lilybug.)

This isn't an old movie. Perhaps you are thinking of a different movie.

Not really my type of movie, but as you have suggested it I might keep it in mind.
