we're trapped!

right now, we're in the middle of the situation that involves both friends. friend 1 accuses friend 2's husband of something very sensitive. now, we got the chance to hear friend 1's side of the story. then some issue's are now out hand which we we're caught surprised because we can't think of anybody else leaking the story. so we suspect friend 1's credibility as she is capable of doing everything and anything no matter what it may cost her. she is very manipulative and i think is she is dismayed that she can't convince her to believe what she just said. besides, we didn't agree to meet her to take sides, we just want to hear what she has to say. and to add more, it's within the husband and wife circle. we friends are supposed to be out of it but she got us involved. i really pity friend 2 because she is not only betrayed but also ill- treated. even our husbands have been involved. the issue is suppose to be handful but now it's too big to patch up. i just hope this will be resolved the soonest if they still have plans in resolving it.

I am confused with what is really going on. But I hope you can wriggle yourself out of that predicament.
