Swiffer cleaning set

So I went out and bought the swffer starter set. I bought it because we use to use them at work and were great for dusting. A few things I realized when I got it home. First, either the older model is better or I just remember all the good things about it. Either way its not as great as I remember. Second, dont be fooled by the commercials. You wont be replacing your broom or mop anytime soon. With that said, I still like 'em. They're great for dusting and they pick up that last little bit your broom forgets. But we'll see how it keeps up. I'm looking into the H20 mop and maybe if I can get over the hibbie gibbies of a dirty rag to wash maybe I'll see how pledge compares. Some of you might think my trial runs might be a little backwards but hey thats the glory of being born in the 80's and only getting your house now...they're newer innovations! Please tell me about your experiences!
