Are you left to be the responsible person?

I dont know if its a bad thing or good? But sometimes I get realy pissed off being the responsible person. For years my friends have always relied on me to make sure, everything gets done. For example, on holiday, I am the one that has to ensure that on the last night everyone gets in and gets up for that 5am flight home, despite the fact that I have to stay up all night! We are driving on a short road trip, but alas no one thinks about putting petrol in the tank or looing at a map, cause they assume that I will have it all in hand, nightmare! Then theres just the normal like oh dont worry , Col has cash left for the taxi, or he still has cigarettes, or we'll just go to his place cause he always has cigarrettes and booze left at the end of the night. But sometimes that gets hard over the years, somebody please wake me up for my flight, or get the map for the road trip, or look up google earth to check a route. Are you this person, let me know how you feel about this. There is a good side I know, but it can get you down in the long term

I feel for you.
Either I'm the " party planner " or the one responsible for getting everyone to where they are suppose to be.
No one else just steps up and takes the job on. It's always " Beth will do it". Sometimes I feel like yelling " bite me, you do it ".....
