Internet Love Affair - Can it be real?

I am sure one of us knows someone who has a partner whom he or she has met from the Internet. We are so aware of the fact that people, young or old are now very much into chatting. I, myself have tried it, and have met a couple of guys. Most of it did not work though. When you are just chatting with someone over the Internet, someone you have not even seen in person, I don't think you should give your all right away, trust him/her or give any personal information on that person. It may be a case to case basis, but for me, it will still be better not to disclose any personal information until such time that he or she gains your trust, and you already have proven that his intentions are good. I know of someone who is now happily married with the person she just met on the net. I should say, in this situation, fairy tales do happen too. What about you? Been into this love affair too?

Hello rrowenaa Wow! that's such a good thing to hear! well I must admit, true love still exists even through the Internet, I too can attest to it :P all we need is a lot of prayers, trust and patience!

I never trusted any internet affair because to me it is impossible to have a foreign love relationship with a person we have never met in our life. When we chat through the internet, we are not facing the person in reality but we are actually playing without our feelings. We don't see his or her facial expression while he or she is chatting with us. We only read the words which she or he sends to us through the messenger service such as yahoo messenger, for example. We don't know whether the person is genuinely interested in us or just playing around. So it is better that we meet the person in reality first before deciding to have a further relationship with that person.

You have a point. it depends on the person if she or he would like to pursue it or not. whatever makes your heart happy, just go for it.

Hi candylove . Here is news from China that a 80 years old man got married with a gril whom he knew from the internet. They became couples from they knew each others only cost 3 days. So i have to believe the Internet love affair. It's really crazy !
