I have always wondered why are women shoes more affordable than men's shoes? Is it because more women are addicted to shoes than men? If that is the case, the law of supply and demand would not apply. The higher the demand the higher the price. What do you think?

Not really the law of demand and supply, it's a matter of how a woman uses their shoes. Girls have a number of shoes to choose from and that each day they have different kind of shoes to wear. Unlike with guys who use just black shoes for office/formal meetings and rubber for athletic activities. And the tendency of wear and tear for guys are great (not unless the guy buys more than 4 pairs of black or leather shoes or more than 3 of rubber shoes.

I think it depends. Some women shoes are more expensive than men's shoes. Maybe it has something to do on how the shoe was made. Some women shoes are made with less leather and maybe some of them are cheaper. Most mens shoes tend to be closed that's why it needs more materials.

For me, not all woman's shoes are affordable and man's shoes are expensive. If you buy shoes that are branded then those shoes are expensive but if you try and look for affordable or cheaper shoes then you will find a lot of it especially in markets shoes which are not only comfortable but also soothing to your feet.

i don't think womens shoes are more affordable than mens shoes because you can always look for more affordable shoes if you just know where to look for it. there are so many affordable shoes, very cheap ones if you just look for one. i can suggest you try to find shoes in the market where it is so much cheaper that you really can afford. he he..

I also wondered about that myself... but i realized that men's shoes are more durable than women's... and they use more materials... unlike with women's shoes where sometimes... it involves only like a line of leather... can be sling back... or open toes... so maybe that contributes to the lower price...

yeah, I also wonder why? MAybe because their are more styles of women's shoes than men's shoes, there are sandals, slip-ons, heels of any size, that if all would be expensive then women will not buy all kinds. then trends are always changing, so they should be a little cheaper than men's. So we women can mix and match hoes with bags and everything and men but not all don't even give a big deal on what shoes that goes with this and that.

it's because women buy a lot of shoes for no reason at all...we buy it coz we want it. unlike men who only buy at least 2 pairs of shoes...work shoes and tennis shoes. also, the quality and how they make those shoes so it would meet the standard of men...like those nike shoes...they're really expensive. men are much active than women so i guess they focus more on the durability of the shoes for active guys
