make new friend online vs offline

i suddenly realize that it's easier to start a new friendship online than offline. i went to a supermarket today and saw a pretty woman. deep inside i really liked to get to know her, but i was not sure how to start a conversation. so i did not say hello to her and just let her passed me by.
if i were in the cyberspace i would have clicked on her pic and follow her on twitter or asked her to be a friend in facebook or friendster. very easy, no need to think twice to execute the action.
what about you, do you agree with me that it's easier to start a new friendship online than offline?

yes, i believe so! making friends online really expands my friendship world. i gain many friends this past few days by just checking on my sites. i love to have lots of friends!

yes,but it's nice to face ur fear and talk directly with that woman.maybe she wanted to get to know u too.and if u live every day as if it were ur last then u'll have more courage to do what ur heart desires.best wishes
