I would honestly build my own, but I dont know how computer literate you are so I would reccomend plan b, wich is going to a website that builds the laptop for you. What the website asks you is like, what you want in it( they do have details for each product to help you understaned what it is and what it does) and you can choose whatever youu want as far as an upgraded item. These make the best, because they are normally chepaer, and personally you get your own wants then just a manufacturers idea of a laptop.

I have a HP laptop which looks great and has great features but I have had nothing but trouble with it. It has been returned to the store twice. Perhaps I am just unfortunate because I know people who have Hp computers and they don't have any problems. I hear Toshiba is pretty good..

toshiba is good, but if you buy one from a store they generally have smaller and less up to date item in them, besides that they are probably the best for dropping, they have a very protective shells over parts. HP is the best, then Acer, then Toshiba prob in my eyes. Just dont buy a dell-)

I think if you were going to buy a new laptop, consider the following: You want as much ram or memory as possible and you preferably want a laptop with a lot of space on the hard drive. It all depends what you are going to be using your laptop for though, you always have to consider this before you make a purchase. Good luck. Andrew

I use HP laptop, back in the old days I used Toshiba. Both brand offer strong poducts, and I haven't experienced any problem with their products. Not recommending Acer though, they tend to break down often.

Yea I have heard that Acer's break easily( because they are best buy generic0 but I have had my Acer for over 2 years nothing has never gone wrong with it, I believe a computer, or any technology item only breaks if it is mistreated or damaged in some way Luvandpower: use Macafee 8.5i Security
