I was contacted by the winery that sells my toffee this morning for a special order for there Halloween party on Friday. I got to talking with one of the owners, Bob, and he offered to put a link to my website(when it is actually finished) on their website. Free of charge. He was also talking to me about some ideas for Christmas basket ideas for them with wine, wine glasses, and some toffee. It sounds like things could really start to pick up for me really soon. Have you ever paid someone to put a link to your site on their site, or have them offer to do it for free?

It just kind of happened. I made some last Christmas and I was told how good it was by everyone that tried it. It was suggested to me to list some on eBay just to see if anyone would buy it. Well, they did. Within a few hours of my listing it people started buying it. I got a local gas station to carry it earlier this year. I simply was talking to the owner one day about it and the next time I was in there I gave her some. She really liked it and offered to let me sell it there. The owners of the winery bought some there and contacted me about carrying it. It is something that I like to do and it is always great when you can make money doing something you enjoy. Now I sell it on eBay, at the gas station, and the winery. I am working on my website right now.

Sounds like your biz is off and running. I have a blog site. Never had an offer for a link. Not paid or free. Congrats on all the new orders!
