Okay, so I finally ran across a PC problem that I just can't seem to solve and it's driving me INSANE!!! I have an HP w19e monitor. I have had it for about a year and a half. Several months ago, it started popping up with OCD locked, Luminance, Volume, etc. I have been to HP and they sagely told me that my warranty was expired (gee, thanks for the help HP). Finally, I switched out the monitor for my old clunker, figuring to have my HP repaired. It sat in my workroom for about 6 mos. until I finally got it to the shop. Guess what, the repair guy plugged it in and told me there was nothing wrong with it! I took it home and put it back on my machine and it worked great....for about 2 months. Now it is doing the same thing. I have tried every button pressing combination that was recommended, reloaded and updated my drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled. I have even fdisked. Any suggestions?
