When I am watching a scary movie, I can't eat or drink. I will lose my appetite.. I will have to stop eating and go to another room to finish up my food.. What about you? Can you watch a gruesome and disgusting movie while you are eating your food?

No since I do have a delicate stomach. I would not be able to watch a scary movie and eat at the same time. Especially if it is a horror movie and it involves blood and other yucky things. © ronaldinu 2008

If it is just scary, I am able to eat and drink just fine. If it is really disgusting, and has like vomit or poop or something like that or a lot of gore and guts then I probably would not be able to eat while watching, and would have to pause it until after I finish eating, or leave the room.

Oh yeah!! I can handle that quite well, thank you very much! LOL! I'm an absolute horror fanatic and I also love scifi. I have no problems eating during gory horror scenes.

I normally don't watch scary movies but I can eat and drink when I do.. Unless it is CSI or one of the shows that show the insides of a murder victim, then it really grosses me out..

No, I don't think I can, especially if it is a gore one or got a gross scenes or even if it was just a suspense thriller film, I really don't think I can eat while watching those. Truly will lose my appetite.

Of course i can't.. I feel sick looking at that disgusting movie. We usually watch movie when we eat. we watch it online but we usually watch comedy movie when we eat. We don;t want to watch scary or whatever types of movies that could affect out appetite. We always laugh when we eat... hahah I think that is a good thing.. than being sick.

It became a habit for me, to eat some snacks when I tend to watch a movie. I don't bother whether it is a scary movie or a comic one.....I show my reaction on my snacks, when anything happen in the movie.......

I can't eat real food during gory movies, though I can eat snacky junk food stuff like popcorn and candy. Typical movie foods I suppose. Just not food like spaghetti, mashed potatoes, or hamburgers.

It all depends on the movie to be honest, I love horror films, can't get enough of them and will happily eat and drink whilst watching films like Hostel, Saw, Final Destination and slasher movies like Friday 13th, Halloween are so tame they are more laughable and so eating/drinking is no problem. Trying hard to think of a gruesome and disgusting movie, can't come up with any to be honest, unless it contains bugs, I can't deal with bugs, I can deal with Hostel but I can't deal with Starship Troopers for example, weird I know! Men attacking Men ok, but not bugs attacking men that is yukkie.

It depends on the movie, I can still eat and drink during movies like saw or hostel, but I was sick in the stomach when I watched Insanitarium that was about cannibilism.. So yes, I can watch a gross movie while eating my food as long as it's not about cannibilism.. :)

No, I couldn't. Especially if the taste and texture of the food was a certain way. If I saw someone's stomach ripped open and I was eating lasagna, I think it would be especially unappetizing. I don't think I would want to watch a movie that was too gory either way, I wouldn't be scared, just grossed out.
