Learning languages is hard. You can either learn them from your school as an extra subject or learn from the locals of a new place where they speak different language from your mother tongue. As for myself, I can speak 3 languages; Malay, Indonesian, and English. Being a student in East Java, Indonesia, I'm trying to learn and speak Sundanese. How many languages can you speak and where did you learn them? Did you practice them frequently?

Hello! I was born in Romania so I speak Romanian. Living in a city at the border with Hungary, and having a lot of Hungarian friends i learned Hungarian too even since i was a small child. At school I learned English for seven years and French for ten. Unfortunately because the lack of practice, I am unable to speak fluent French because I`m having difficulties with finding the words but as for the understanding, I have no real problem with that if the ones who are talking are not speaking fast as they are used to :D. I've learned German from my grandma because she is German. I also learned Italian from the TV because the Italian language is very much like the Romanian.

I can speak English, Filipino, and basic Japanese. I also have another dialect which is Kapampangan - the national language in the Philippines is Tagalog (a.k.a Filipino), but my parents spoke Kapampangan which is a dialect that their parents spoke (though everyone speaks Tagalog and English). I would like to better my Japanese - just because I think I can :)

I can speak Kamayo, Visayan, Tagalog and English. I learned English from school and from my husband while Kamayo, Visayan and Tagalog are my native languages. I want to learn German language. It seems like very interesting to learn the language because it's quiet different from English.

Nice. The sign language, u teach yourself or you follow classes? Language is something we have to practice everyday right? Or we'll forget how to use them. I myself learn Arabic in school years ago and now I forget the words I learned.
