When you're down and troubled? You're feeling depressed, glass half empty, life not looking so bright, what cheers you up?
Usually it's my kids saying something funny. Today it was the kittens chasing each other and a chat with a friend. What cheers you up?

crying makes me feel better, if im not with somebody and do have so many problems, i just cry with it and think that yeah i have problems but still im more blessed compare to those other who were not fortunate as me, then it would brighten up my day!!
but their was one time that i have this huge problem, actually its a family problem and it really affects me or my whole family alot and it was really painful, especially my mom!!and i would say at that time i cant think of good reason of living up!!what i do is i go to my sister's house and play wih her daughter, my niece, and just cry at her, telling her what im feeling even if i know she doesnt understand me, when i was crying she really amaze me, she wipe my tears, and its as if it lighten the pain in my heart, and i just kiss her and hug her tightly, until she asks me why im crying and say pls dont cry auntie, ill just kiss you!!!whoa...now that incedent made me cry again!!

For me there is nothing like a walk on the beach. But, if I can't get to the beach I find that spending time with my grandkids is just the ticket. They really can bring a smile to your face and warm your heart.

My niece just had twin girls. Holding them was great therapy for me.

Usually, the first thing that cheers me up is the fact that I'm breathing. It helps me realize that even when yesterday seemed not to be much of a good day, I have THIS DAY to make things right or to be happy.
Then when I start looking at the "little" things I can be thankful for, I look for a quiet place in the house or go somewhere where I can be alone for a few minutes, then PRAY. Nothing beats a dose of PRAYER any time of the day! :)

When I'm worried, I am also reminded of Lion King where the "Hakuna Matata" phrase was made known. It's Swahili for "No Worries."
And.. there's also this book I've read, "You Are What You Think" by David Stoop where I've learned that we can actually CHOOSE our emotions or our responses to our circumstances.
see you around.. happy myLotting! :)

There are a couple of things which help me when I am down. One of them is my collection of inspiring quotes, poems and stories. I have collected them over the years and I have more than 400. I also have another notebook that I use when I am sad, and in this book I have written down the things I am grateful for. There are all sorts of things, big things as well as small things. If those books don't help me, I try my favourite music or even better: My rabbits. They are often the very best cure when I am feeling down.

while I am in bad mood and feel depression, I always do someting to cheer me up.
1. I will read some books. From the book, I sometime get the encourage.
2. To do some exercise is helpful for your dismay, especially ourdoor sport. For example: climbing, swiming, football, jogging, and so on. Expert has point out that sport can increase your oxygen and reduce your discourage.
3. Chat with other people. you will get more message and encourage whick will broaden your sight and meditation.
4. Think about your dreams. we live active because we still hopeful. never give up your dream is the best way to thril yourself.

Hi dawnald, the first thing that picks me up is my son. I usually look at his picture and then i come to realize that there is still a good life ahead of us... reminicing all the memories when i first touched him when he's out of my womb. very touching but really gives me real hope for the future... thanks for HIM that he gave my son, for me to be reminded that life is a blessing that must continually cherished and lived. thanks for posting...
