Have you ever help poor or needy people yet?

Here in myLot we do earn come extra cash to help out with our expenses a bit. But how many of you is aware that there are so many poor and needy people out there? Have you ever make any contributions or donate something to them? And which do you prefer to give; money, food, clothes, or etc? Please mention the reasons.

Just the other day, I was going into a store parking lot and saw a man holding a sign. Apparently, he was homeless and in need of food, and work. I felt compelled to help him in some way. So, while in the store, I picked up a few things that he could eat. On my way out, I stopped and gave it to him. Then, I stopped at the local shelter and requested that one of their advocates go try to help him. I am not sure what happened to the man, but at least I know I tried to help.

you know i'm still a student i always hope i have a lot of money for the needs of other people, maybe the reason why i want to help is to touch the heart of many people who are in need, i want them to know that there is still hope for everyone else in this world
