Are you the pessimistic or the optimistic type?
Well, me, I am the combination of both. Sometimes I am pessimistic about life, and would tend to always think that everything might be jinxed if i get too optimistc.
But sometimes, i am optimistic about work and my career goals.

hi
in a single sentence, I'm neither of these two.
Life taught me a good lesson at very early stage of my life. The lesson is, I'm ordained to do whatever I'm doing and I have no right on the result of my deeds.
In other words, our lives are pre defined and live will flow accordingly. Nuclear Scientist once said that we were nothing but a stick floating on a river and moving in the direction of the stream. The stick was changing its position but unable to change the direction.
So is our lives, we may try but can't change the flow of life. My philosophy is to do things and not to be too much disturbed by the result of my activities.
As I'm not too much concerned about what'll happen, that's why I'm not an optimistic or an pessimistic person.

I am more on the optimistic side. I view things on its positive perspective. I believe in mind over matter that things happen according on our perspective. Moreso, there are reasons why things happen and the purpose lies on the hand of our Creator.
If you think negatively, the mind will process it as it is and that will happen. Give it a try keep on saying your head is aching and after 10 to 15 minutes your will see your head will ache. Give it a try! :)

both..so it would be balance. Sometimes I tend to be positive in all of the things that I am doing, but sometimes i can't stop being pessimistic. It can affect what you are doing in your life. It is not good if you are too optimistic because you cannot see what is the reality, you have a very high confidence which then leads you to fall and if you are a very pessimistic person, you didn't grow as a person because you dont want to try those things that can help you to become successful because you are always thinking of the negatiyve things that will happen to you if you try those things. It is better if all of this is balance.

I am more optimistic. See, whatever your attitudes towards to life, you have to live life. So why not smile at life? Sometimes i feel depressed, i say to myself: tommorow is another day!

I am optimistic. I believe you should always be optimistic. If you have a positive attidude of life it helps you deal with the bad and sad things better.
If you are pessimistic, you make yourself think you cannot do things or having a bad attitude, like my middle daughter' makes you always gloomy. She always tells me I will never win the lottery, I tell her if you think like that about things, it will not happen. I tell her I will win. I think possitive.
Be optimistic about everything, it helps you succeed.

Oh, I would call myself optimistically-pestimistic. I hope for the best, butprepare for the worst. This philosophy has served me pretty well over the past 40 years.

I'm more optimistic , I have always been.
Because I feel, that everything I do , depends on myself and how I do it, not from others.
So when I screw something up, I know it was because I made something wrong, so I know that I can do something better.
And always where is a fifty-fifty chance, I'll do my best to achieve it, because then I will have bigger opportunities to get it.

Sometimes I am optimistic, and sometimes pessimistic about achieving a goal. It depends on the possibility of attaining it. You know in your heart if what you want to achieve is possible or not. Too optimistic in achieving something beyond reality brings us frustration. Too pessimistic on something that can you can possibly achieve leads to failure.
