Today, we can see all kind of messenger at the internet. We have Yahoo! messenger, MSN messenger, gtalk, skype, QQ Messenger, ICQ Messenger, AOL Messenger and a lot more that maybe I have never heard before. So, which messenger do you installed in you computer or laptop? Which one is the most often used? Personally, i have skype, msn, QQ and yahoo messenger installed in my PC. Due to slow connection with Yahoo! messenger at my office, I could not on it until I am back at home. Therefore, so far, the messenger I always on right now will be MSN messenger. What about you? Kindly share with me.

Most of the time I use MSN, then it'll be QQ. MSN seems much more formal as seldom strangers will bother you. QQ is especially good for transfer big files. When I need to make an international call, then I will use Skype. Otherwise I seldom turn it on. I don't use Yahoo messenger as I already have MSN.

i do not use instant messaging as i find it very distracting when i am trying to do other things. and because most people are also doing other things while they are instant messaging sometimes it takes forever to have a conversation. i find the whole thing frustrating. i would have loved it when i was a teenager though!

I've been an AOL AIM junkie for years now, its what my friends and I use most. I've tried out ICQ and didn't enjoy it much. Now, with all the new people I've been connecting with, I find I use AIM and MSN most of all. I do have Yahoo but have few contacts in it so I rarely use it. Because I am always connected to the internet and a lot of my communication occurs via IM I use a free program called Trillian. It logs me into all my accounts at once and allows me to carry on a conversation with people in AIM, MSN, and Yahoo without having to physically switch between the three. I like it because AIM the new version I dislike, and whenever I installed the software my computer would act up badly so I had to get rid of it. With Trillian my computer acts perfectly fine, and it responds quicker then using just AIM, MSN, or Yahoo alone.

The only I have instaleld and use is AIM. I used to have like a bajillion installed on my computer a few years back but it's really pointless. I really don't have the time to sit and chat anymore and when I do the few people I chat with have AIM so I just uninstalled all the useless ones taking up space on my computer.

I have a Yahoo! Messenger, MSN, Gtalk, and Skype. But it is Yahoo! Messenger that I always use in chatting with my friends and family. I am almost online everyday, even though invisible at most times. It is a good way to connect with friends and family that you don't always see. I am very happy to know, about a few months ago, that I could also add my MSN contacts to my Yahoo! Messenger. That way, I need not to log on to MSN and Yahoo! at the same time.
