how do some people remain slim while eating all day long?

I find that I have to constantly watch my diet and control what I eat or I will bloat. I find some people do not bother and eat what they want all day nong and do not do any exercise too yet they remain slim and trim. What is the reason for this? Are they constitutionally slim or do they take some tablets to remain slim?

You described me. My hubby says I'm lucky to be able to eat whatever and not gain an ounce. I am the same weight I was in high school, just shifted around a bit LOL I attribute this to two things. For one I am a smoker and two I have a very very high metabolism.

LOL! I am about the same weight as I was in high school too, just shifted around a tiny bit due to having kids. My metabolism is NOT what it was when I was 20, so I am a gym junkie, but I don't deprive myself as far as food. I'm quite a foodie and I love to eat, and the only way to stay sane for me is to keep eating and keep going to the gym. I can't NOT eat and I know if I quit going to the gym that wouldn't be good either.

Some people are very lucky and have good metabolisms. My ex sister in law was like that. She could eat packets of chocolate biscuits and never put on weight. My doctor told me that I have a very bad one, so bad in fact that just reading a recipe would make me put on weight. Life can be tough sometimes.

Metabolism. People with high metabolism naturally do not gain as much wait because their body controls how fast the food is digested. Some people say drinking really cold water before eating helps speed up your metabolism or specially formulated vitamins and minerals but you have to be careful with vitamins and minerals. I am sure that exercising could also help your metabolism, but I would not quote me on that. The best way to find out about metabolism is to look it up on the internet. Then again there are people who are bullemic or anorexic.

Metabolism lol. When I was younger I could eat whatever I wanted and my metabolism made up for it. As I've gotten older, I have to make sure I exercise. Another thing that goes along with the whole deal is genetics. Either you are destined to have a slowing metabolism and trouble with gaining weight over time (also trouble with bloat) or you aren't, but AGE certainly steers things in that direction, even if you have been thin your whole life. As far as me, I have to go to the gym, and I do. Some people do take supplements as well as exercise a lot. In simplest terms, you need to expend more energy than you take in, so if you are doing this, you will likely maintain your weight and stay slim.

I think people with fast metabolism does not get fat easily. On my side, I think too much brain work prevents me from getting fat.

when we were young, i always ask myself, how come other people are chubby? coz i never get fat coz im too skinny... but now that im a mother...i gained weight... one of the major reasons why i do get fat maybe because i dont have as much activities like i do when i was younger coz then, i do a lot of walking.

Some people are born naturally thin. Probably they have high metabolism or perhaps some disease in their body that they couldn't absorb the nutrients well. Some would do the diet thing and work out to stay slim and trim. I am naturally thin and I can eat as much as I can without gaining much weight. Its a gene thing. Actually, those who have weight issues should try to eat smart. Eat only those without fats.

Alot of people are just genetically skinny, they are just made that way. They can eat whatever they want or how much they want and not gain a ounce, and not even exercise. I have to constantly watch what I eat, all I have to do is look at something fattening, and I'll gain weight, I don't even have to eat it, I have to do my exercises everyday, if I don't, I'll feel bad all day.

i have a fast metabolism so i dont gain weight. BUT i have to eat all the time or i feel faint which i would rather not have to eat all the time than to deal with that.. just the way the body is.. most people seem to be set to stay slim or tend to gain weight and stay that way

i think i am not a fat girl .just as you say .,i can eat what i want to eat ,but i won't became fat but also slim .i think there are some reason in my stomachus.when i eat something ,maybe my stomachos will refuse .so at last i have eat something just like have eat .so i am still slim.

there are a lot of people out there with high metabolism, which keeps them slim. i think that asians have really high metabolism (yes im asian) so i dont think ive ever met a fat viet chick..its really rare to find bigger asian women or girls. Some people take diet pills, some have diet opatches, im not sure about how that whole thing works. ive had so many friends that have high metabolism and ill watch them just eat and eat and eat but they will always be the same size. xD im happy with how i look when it comes to fitness but i still ezxercise and diet anyway to avoid diseases. ;)

I eat a lot, and I mean a lot, but that dont worry me much because I dont really get fat at all. I believe I have a fast metabolism, my food easily gets digested. also, I have a small body frame, and I guess that's one thing that keeps me slim. It will not matter if you are slim or fat, just make sure you are healthy, that's what matters most.
