here in the philippines, there alot of different bodies of water that one can find. waterfalls are seldom seen by people compared to other kinds of bodies of water since it hides behind the winding and rising walls of the jungle ravine. waterfalls have high or low fall of water. others have gentle or stormy vertical water course. it is a relaxing feeling looking at a waterfall. it is amazing to see how the water from the mountains is falling down.

Yes I have seen many waterfalls in Sri Lanka. The waterfalls there are beautiful especially those in the hill country. I have also been to a waterfall in Jamaica called Dunns River Falls, where you can actually climb the waterfall. That was awsome.

Well i have seen water falls and i think they are so wonderful. It makes you feel like there is other life out there and you are just not seeing it. I wonder how many people have seen that one or how many people have stood under that one.

I have seen the Batlag and Daranak falls in Tanay when I was in College. It was really relaxing just by hearing the waterfalls itself. I like nature tripping.

I love waterfalls. It is kind of like going to church for me.
Some of my favorites near my home are:
Multnomah Falls and Latourell Falls, which are near Portland, Oregon USA
I've also been to Huka Falls on New Zealand (N.I.) - simply amazing!
If you ever make it to Oregon, make sure you cruise by Multnomah falls, or at least look it up online.

I've never seen a waterfall in real life. I've only seen them in books and television. I would one day like to see one from afar, I'm too afraid of bodies water such as lakes and streams (even pools).

Hi there maroseqf. We have many waterfalls here in Romania as well; Not all are very big or well known, but the one that i visited when i was just a kid, and was pretty high (several meters high) is known (at least in my country) and called The "Screaming Waterfall" (Cascada Urlatoare in romanian).

well I have seen some but not as majestic as the beautiful false on hidden jungle, I have seen small ones from the way to Baguio, or is it considered as one?
oh I have heard of a certain waterfalls in Zimbabwe (if I am not mistaken )and it is called the devil's something as the water above the fall has some pool in it, where you can go stand and the current won't take you down the waterfalls.

I've always wanted to go to the Niagara Falls, still have yet to do it! I've seen small, tiny, waterfalls at the different zoos that they put to together, but not an actual naturally made waterfall! Bet it's a beautiful thing:(

I love waterfalls. In the U.S. in Virginia, back in the woods, there are horse trails you can ride back and see the beautiful waterfalls and streams. You can even get off your horse and walk on the rocks and behind the waterfalls. They are beautiful. Also in the upper penninsula of michigan, there are the sulocks and near there are some beautiful water falls also. You are so lucky to be able to see waterfalls!!

I live in Scotland and there are a few small waterfalls that I have seen. I have also seen some in Austria which are beautiful and the water is so clean.
My favourite though was when I went to Canada and saw Niagara - wow, i walked behind it and flew over it in a helicopter, then I saw it all lit up at night from a high view point across from it - AMAZING!!!
