What are the places in your own country that you would like to visit and explore?
I am from the Philippines and I would like to visit Davao and Palawan. My husband was born in Palawan and I have heard that they have beautiful untouched forests there.
How about you?

I love Gozo a lot. It is part of the maltese archipelago. Depite that it is 20 minutes by ferry it is unique and separate from Malta. The gozitans have the same language but their life is much more laid back than ours. I love Gozo. © ronaldinu 2008

hi there
davao is indeed very beuatiful. you will get to experience the beach, the mountains and urban living in that one city.
i have been to bohol three times but i feel that i have not even explored half of it. it is really beautiful--and very big.
i have not been to ilo-ilo. i want to visit the place someday and, well, eat their specialties. LOL!
take care!

Hi there Raine!
I haven't been to Bohol. Were you able to see the Tarsiers? you can't touch them right? I think I heard from somewhere that they will become weak and eventually die if they will be touched by people but I'm not really sure.
I have been to Ilo-ilo but only for a few hours and just in SM and went shopping.
Thank you very much for your response.

yup, i saw the tarsiers. they are stationed near loboc river. they put one tarsier on my palm and it looked at me with its big eyes it was really cute and -- well, very light. i am not sure about their policy about not touching the tarsiers though. and i am not sure about the other people but it was an overwhelming experience for me to see and touch a tarsier.
take care!

I am from The United States. I would like to see Nashville TN becuase it is the home of country music which is my favorite kind of music to listen to. I would also like to see New York City Time square where we have our annual New Years Eve Count Down every year. and finally Los Angeles California just because that is where all the big stars live. :-)

Hi there Marcia!
Wow! New York City is one of the places that I would like to be able to visit if I will be able to visit the US someday. It is the setting of my favorite book series, Gossip Girl and the city sounds really exciting and intriguing in some ways.
Thank you very much for your response.

I'm ashamed to admit that there are huge parts of the country that I live in which I've never explored. When I first came here I intended to travel around and see allot more than I ever got around to, and subsequently I've been too busy to take the time out. When we have guests to stay I am often embarrassed to realise that they've seen more of the country that I have.

Hi there Green Moo!
I think I am guilty of the same thing. I haven't been to lot of other places here in my own country too.
Thank you very much for your response.

I'm from davao myself so I would suggest you visit our city. Places I recommend you visit there would be the Philippine Eagle, The Malagos Gardens, Samal Island Beach Resort, and Pear Farm. I would love to recommend more but i guess thats the best palce to visit. I myself would love to visit Palawan. Maybe the next time I go back to the Philippines I might do just that. Happy Holidays.

Hi there Che! It's nice to hear from you again.
I have been to Tagaytay and I like the place especially their "Picnic Grove". I haven't been to Baguio too and I wish that I can go visit there in the future. Seems like you like cold places.
Thank you very much for your response.

Hi there Bombshell!
Thank you very much for your response. It's really nice to know familiar faces, like your kababayans anywhere especially if you're visiting a foreign country, I hope that you and your husband will get to visit Davao soon.
