My wife's hometown is a small vilage in the northwest of China, which is far away from the town.It is a place where there is no river flowing through. There used to be some wells ,but in the recently years they are dry because of not enough amount of rain.As a result ,people have to fetch water with buckets one by one with their hands.People cherish the water as oil.

I am sad to know the condition of your wife's hometown. Before this I've never thought that there still a place where people can't get access to clean water from the piping system. But now after reading your discussion I realize that there are still many people suffering because they can't get access to basic utitilities such as water and electricity.
Are you living there with your wife or are you now living in town? Is her mother and family members still living there? If I were you I would have asked them to stay with me, if they wanted to move in. But I will tell them that they have to find jobs for themselves because I can't afford to support them financially.
It is a pity because in some parts of the world people are living so luxuriously while in some other parts of the world people still live in suffering. Life is never fair, and it never will.
