yes i've started saying 'no' to plastic bags. it's been more than a year and i'm quite comfortable with it. i try to use my bag to carry whatever i've bought. when i go grocery shopping, i'll bring along a basket for my shopping. even then, i've still got loads of plastic bags at home from previous shopping trips. i use them to bag my rubbish before throwing. hopefully i'll never have to use a brand new plastic bag ever again. cheers

Last September when I was traveling in London and Paris, I have seen some markets of both these places have stopped using plastic bags. Even they use any, it will be environment friendly. I am really impressed! However, in my country, we still did not implement any of this step. I will happy to follow if there is any supermarket implement this!

That is good advice. Plastic bags are not good for the environment, although there are bags made from corn that acts like plastic bags and biodegradable. I think the choices are out there, we just need to make the right ones. We use cloth bags for groceries ans recycle pretty much everything. After all, God made us the steward of the planet.

I do my best to bring reusable bags. Though alot of the time I do get plastic bags, and I do need to stop. But what about our house bins, we need plastic bags for that. I mean sure there are bin liners, but there made out of plastic aswell.

I am very glad to live in our city, where just a few months ago, an ordinance was implemented that no plastic bags are allowed to be used in groceries and markets, or any store within the area, except for meat and fish. So, If I will go to the grocery store, I have to bring my own bag, preferably a fabric one which used to be the packaging of a shirt I bought a long time ago, so I just recycled it. I think it is a good way for the environment. Knowing also, that the brown paper bags issued by the store must all be recycled. Even so, I still prefer to bring my own bag or basket. It is a good way to lessen the trash that we throw everyday, the trash that is becoming a major issue these days. We should always try to do something to help our environment.

"Are you Say ‘NO’ to plastic bags?"
What???? Is that, do you say NO to plastic bags?
As much as possible, I am trying to lessen the use of plastic bags, we can't help it for now cause we are still trapped on using those stuffs, soon when fabric bags will be available and in lesser cost, I guess, it's really good for all of us to use it rather than PLASTIC BAGS or any plastic materials.
You are right, "we can start IT with ourselves". Eradicate if not lessen the use of plastic bags.

Plastic bag is widely used here in my country. It's hard to say 'No' cause everything here involved with it. The only way is to recycl;e it back. Used the same bag again again. I used to collect them and sold it to the scrap vendor to melt it again to make the plastic bag again. In this way I try not to throw it away somewhere and there is no plastic thrash near my house.
