What do you want to give them that you have never had?

hmm...i dont think there's something to give them that i never had...of course i'm not reffering to cars, houses, money etc etc but as far as they could, my parents gave me all i needed and educated me properly..so i hope i can give to my kids just as much as my parents gave to me

i believe that i have already given my kids something that i never had as a child. a mother! a full time dedicated mother that loves them dearly. if there is one thing i can brag about myself is that i am a wonderful mother. i am not perfect, for nobody is, but i try to be. and i have a wonderful relationship with all my 3 kids. i had a mom, i still do , but we never had a relationship at all. we dont get along ever. so i grew up thinking that i will never be to my kids what she was to me.

This is an easy one. 2 parents that care. I lived in a house where my mother did itALL! My father sat in his easy chair after coming home from work. That is it. School functions, doctor appointments, parties, meetings with teachers. The list goes on. My hubby is different. He is an active hubby and father. He participates in family and life. So my children have what I didn't.

I would give them a chance to choose for themselves. My parents used to gave me something without asking my opinion, I would like to give my children a chance to show their opinions so that they can choose what they really want to have and want to do. It would teach them responsibility for themselves. I think it is not an easy thing to do, but I think the result would worth the hard work.
