To be honest with you, I don't like my boss , he is not an easy going guy. And he always finds faults with me and never keep his words. What he does and what he says often contradict with each other. But he is my boss, I have to work with him every day, which I hated. Do you like your boss. And what should you do if I were you.

I understand your complaint. In my opinion, the relationship between an employer and his/her employees varies according to the personality of the boss. Usually, we are sick of being blamed for everything that goes wrong, and we can't atand flattery of someone else...maybe which are just what the boss likes. If you like your work, you should find the best solution to this problem. If I were you I will adjust my own feeling and make time for my work rather than the boss.

Yeah, you are right, we can't change the world, what we could do is just adapt yourself to it.

most of my leaders are female. i was wondering whether it is the gender and the age makes them mean and sensitive to others. once somebody even makes a tiny mistake, they will never get it over. they will mention it on any possible occasion, and bla bla bla... i think the only way you can do is to make your own life apart from the work time. do not let the boring people spoil your mood.

I wouldn't say that I dislike my boss, we do disagree a lot but that is the fun of our relationship. I have weekly meetings with him and managers of the other departments of the company, I always make do my report on the coming weeks and months and he always disagrees with me. I go ahead and do things my way and it always works out just fine, but he still persist that I do things a certain way. I say untill there is a flaw in the way I run my section then I will continue to do things myway. I know that this would upset most people but I enjoy a good arguement so I am ready to pounce back when he fires at me.

My boss is also snorty, she comes from XinJiang, just because she know 3 languages: Turkish,English,Chinese , hired by our Turkish big boss. In China, she is very selfish, in order to let big boss love her, she depresss employees salary, if we sold machines, it;s her contribution. If there are some troble in work, its all our fault. In a word, she is the best person in the company. We do not care about what she say, just like you say ,she never keep her words. I can keep my own mood quiet. You believe : sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. now she was fired because all the people in the comapny dislike her after her 2years sinful old. Hope you adjust your own feeling optimistic. Happy everyday!

I have two bosses. They are co-owners of the company I work for. Lets call them John and Joe.
John is very easy going, lets things roll, doesn't complain or yell. But he is very scattered and often I have to check what he does. He doesn't always give me all the informaion I need. He often doesn't fill out the paper work as he should leaving me to do it.
Joe is first and formost cheap! He b!tches about every thing and is never positive about any thing. If I say we got 15 jobs in today he will say we should have got 30! The good things about him are that he always has his paperwork filled out correctly and most often tells me what is going on so I don't have to figure it out on my own. He doesn't yell at you but he will yell TO you.
Over all I like both of them. I have learned to handle Joe in a way I don't think any one else could. I have no problem telling him to "go to his office" or "go home" when he starts acting like a jackass. Its very laid back here - we basically tell each other off when needed with out fear of getting fired. I like the guys I work with all of them. Its a great job and I will be sorry to leave.

Well I have several bosses. For a start there is the owner of the business I work for and his sons but I do not see a lot of them at all, as long as I do my job they pretty well leave me alone. Maybe once every three months they will make a point of being at the depot I work out of to make sure the drivers do not have any problems. Then there is the manger of the depot I work out of and he is pretty good as well as long as we do our job and let him know if we are going to be delayed making a delivery.
Basically they work on the principle that we should know our job and it is up to us to make sure that the loads we are delivering are there on time, and if they aren't then we better have a good reason. They expect us to be refreshed when we leave on a trip, to keep accurate records, not to speed and to have the breaks from driving that we are legally required to.
My partner and I also have a small organic farm. As she does most of the work on it as I am away truck driving so often, I guess that makes her the boss. She is a great boss, makes me coffee, lunch, gets me cool drinks and never yells at me at all.
