I read this on the internet: The next version of Microsoft Windows, the software that defines the computing experience for most people, will nag users much less than its much-maligned predecessor, Vista. PC users will be able to test the new edition early next year. You can read this here: http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/1650949-microsoft-to-unveil-test-version-of-windows-7 I didnt realise they would be releasing another OS so quickly. What are your views on it. The image here shows: Larson-Green and Sinofsky demonstrate Microsofts's new operating system Windows 7 in Los Angeles

yup i heard it a year ago. microsoft had success in windows 98 and windows xp. but vista is a real failure for them. in late 2001 windows 98 was fastly tranformed to windows xp. but vista doesnt so they trying to introduce new operating system called windows seven. it will be a great OS. windows vista is not user friendly as winxp or win98. but windows seven willbe. i think so. once they launch windows millenium it was also a failure. then introduce windows 2000 and then windows xp. Xp was real experience itself. media centre Xp is also great. but none have used it.

it used to be called "windows vienna". then became "windows se7en", then just simply "windows 7". and this will be the first OS that will only released in 64-bit. so those 32bit fanatics, there will be not windows 7 32bit..hehe

To me Vista is not a failure, It works great for me and there are no problems with the operating system. of course I bought a laptop built for Vista. Now with Windows 7 being only a 64bit OS what are those going to do they cant upgrade to windows 7 with out getting a 64 bit machine. then you will here the complaints all over again

Yes I have heard that it will be out for general use sometime in 2010. you save Vista nags users, I don't and haven't had that problem what so ever. to me Vista is better than XP Just as Windows 7 when it comes out will be better than Vista. What will the system requirements be for Windows 7, Historically with every version of Windows that came out the system requirements were increased and that has happened with every version. right now you need a gig plus processor, and a gig or more of ram for Vista what will the requirements be for Windows 7 XP requirements are a Gig plus processor, but only 512meg ram

Ya i know about this. This is supoosed to kick all the windows badly and go on with a full new throlle. i guys it will be good and i guess it will improve alot opf performances and all that stuff but what it would really need a super ocmputer to make it work with a huge amount of ram and other stuff likes a nice processoer like the new quad core and a brand new upgradeable motherboard. So even if it is out. It will take more than a year so settle down like how indows xp did if you remember the launch of it. Well anyways happy mylotting and ncie disucussion buddy :)
