Where are you at in Life?

Im 38 now and I just recently came in contact with my best friend from Highschool. After we graduated I moved away got married and stayed away for a couple of years then I moved back home after I divorced me and my best friend hooked up again then a few months later I left again. I stayed gone for 4-5 years when I went back home I looked her up and we exchanged address and maybe wrote each other 1 or 2 times. Then I left and lost contact now threw classmates we have hooked up again and talk just about everyday. We talk about things that have happened to us at different points in our lives and where we are today. Where are you at in your Life? Are you finally settled and just enjoying life or are you going threw the bumpy roads. Just curious to know.

I'm now 31 and "walking on water."
As a leap of faith, I've resigned from a job I've had for the last eight years to pursue my life mission. However, my application (ministry work) is still in process so I've been jobless for almost a month now. I choose not to entertain any other applications because I really want to be readily available for this "lifetime" career that I would love to have.
My well-meaning friends have advised me to go out and look for other opportunities but I'm choosing to wait.

I forgot to ask.. you haven't mentioned in your post if you and your friend have finally settled down. Have you?

Yes! We both have settled down both happily married and enjoying watching our children grow up. Sounds like you know what you want and I dont blame you for waiting for it sometimes in life that is what we have to do. Good Luck and Thank You!

I'm 60 years old. Yes, reasonably happy and settled. I married only once and that worked for me. My hubby is still with me and enjoying quality of life. My children are grown up and settling.
Yes, with my hubby, I had sometimes difference of opinions, but it never went out of hands. Occasional common fightings were there and it was just as normal as one can think of. I haven't faced any such situations where I felt my marriage was under threat.
Hope you too get settled soon and enjoy your life with your partner.

I'm 37, and I'm happy and settled down now in my life, I'm happily married, been married for 5 yrs. I've already gone down those bumpy roads in my life, and now I'm going down the smooth paved roads of life, and just enjoying it...Glad to hear that your settled down yourself...Have a good day
