I was just watching a few shows on tv and I was infuriated. The show that I was watching was a reality show which I won't name. Anyway, in this show, the family had been given a certain large amount on money and it was divided per person and the way they spend the money is determined by someone else. When it came down to the two sons, the money was split up for a truck for the two sons to share. The sons could do nothing but complain about how they were NOT going to share a truck. I grew up with everything I needed because my dad worked his butt off. I, of course, had chores and had to help out with the farm and everything and I had no problems with that. Needless to say, my dad did not purchase a car, nor give me money to purchase a car. If someone gave me $10 to go toward the purchase of a new vehicle, I would be grateful. I don't understand how these ungrateful children could throw a fit over having to share a vehicle that was given to them. I just wanted to reach through the tv and slap those two boys and stick them out on their butts out in the real world. Why were these children raised like this? Why were these children not taught basic principles of hard work and the value of a dollar? What are your feelings on what I just posted? What are some of your similar experiences? I'm sorry...I'm just angrily ranting.

Well I won't blame the kids. It's society and the way they portray life, but not showing the majority unless on the news! Just make sure to raise our kids to learn the value of money! Taripre$

OH good grief, if I was the host I think I'd offer to donate the money to charity instead. But I guess showing them acting like a**es got some ratings for the show or something. Geez, if you can't live with sharing a truck, wait until you're off the air and then sell the dang thing and buy two used ones. Don't insult somebody who's giving you something for free!
