I get audited at my work since I work for a bank. We are up for an audit soon and everyone is a little nervous -- WHAT A DRAG!!
I know many retail stores also get audited as well as financial institutions and such.
DO you get audited where you work? If so, is it a drag? Does it affect you much? Where do you work (what type of business) and how often?

I have always worked at places that got audited, because I always worked in finance. I was the payroll administrator at a hospice company that got audited every year. I really hated it, because I would have to pull so many documents and the correspondent documents as well. No one like an audit, it can become stressful.
The last job I was working at which was a computer consult company, we always had an audit . Actually, I was blamed for something that the auditors found, which was not done by me. The person who did it was good friends with the boss, so it was easier for her to blame me than to blame her friend, actually her friend was the billing manager, and she told me to do something, that turned out should not have been done, so I was blamed, instead of the Manager who told me to do it.

I'm currently working part time for an outfit that doesn't get audited, but OSHA does drop by to make sure its a safe work place.

i know what your talking about. when i was in the 11th grade i was in this program and my teacher had to do that audit thing like 3 times a year. the people from downtown would come in and look through all her stuff to make sure she has everything shes suppose to and make sure shes doing everything right. she would always get stressed out when she had to do that.
