I am a mother of 2 and a step mother of 2. I cook a home cooked meal everynite. We go out to eat maybe 1 time a month. I allow my son to get a mcdonalds cheeseburger about 2 times a month. My son is healthy, hardly never gets sick, takes vitamins everyday, drinks lots of water and gets plenty of excercise. I also homeschool him so every meal he get's I cook or he cooks, we have chickens so we dont buy store bought eggs or store bought chicken. My step daughters, come every weekend and they are always sick at least once a month there is something wrong with them, they eat chicken patties and junk food unless they are here. They eat out at least 2-3 times a week, they dont drink water unless they are here. They take vitamins on the weekends. Does it matter what our children are eating? Would changeing what they are eating make them healthier, would they get sick alot. What do you feed your kids and how does it affect them?

What kids eat does have a big impact on their health. Mine were pretty healthy when they were living at home.We drank lots of milk. The environment your stepkids come from may have a lot to do with illness as well. If they are not taught to wash their hands often, or if someone smokes around them. If they never go outside, or get exercise, it can make them unhealthy. It can just be genetic as well. Good job on being so careful with your kids.
