I had my bridal shower this past saturday & one of the gifts I recieved was a Magic Bullet. I've wanted one for years now, ever since I saw that silly infomercial on late night TV! LOL So I was wondering if any of you MyLoters happen to own one? If so have you came up with your own recipes for using it? I'd love to hear them!!

I have a magic bullet at home. we got it as a gift from a friend who saw the infomercial and bought it while they had a promotional 2nd one for free. i know the infomercial word for word ive seen it so many times! LOL i loved it when i saw it, we barely use it now that we have it though. i find they are only good for milkshakes and smoothies not for all the cooking stuff which was sad to discover!! but thats just my opinion, im sure others have had a great time with it

my friends husband said that he used to have one & he said it was "totally awesome" that they used to use it for everything. I tried to use it for a chicken salad type diner the other night with some leftovers & totally screwed it up! The blade wouldn't chop up the chicken & I'd cut it into small pieces, so I dunno....

Oh yeah.... It's supposed to be able to chop up ice, but if it can't even chop chicken how in the heck will it cut through ice!?!?!

right you see them and how easy it is till you get one then it all different, I also could only get it to make drinks and was not real good at chopping the ice, as for chopping us chicken it was in shredds, you have t remember you aren't buying the one they are using, but a different one altogether. Like a sweeper a door to door sales man sold us years ago, it would suck the rug right up off the wall, but the one he left at the house when I bought it wouldn't pick up the lint on the floor, come to find out it was a reconditioned one repainted. These people use this thing for hours at a time and they make it look easy, but not the same when we get it in our kitchen.

I just bought one as a Christmas present for myself. I plan to use it to make smoothies, and grind coffee and perhaps nutmeg. I did buy a blender a while ago - the glass broke, and guess what? The only example recipes it had were for smoothies and it was an Osterizer so figured the Magic Bullet was just a short blender. I figure in the infocommericals, they did not use the same Magic Bullet over and over, had separate Magic Bullets for each procedure. By the way, the Magic Bullet price went down - I guess to what it is really worth.

I LOVE the magic bullet. I really just like taking a frozen assortment of fruits and adding some kind of juice (apple or orange) and blending away. It makes a GREAT sorbet type thing. When my friends come over, we mix all of our drinks in the Magic Bullet. Overall I have to say, greatest invention ever!
