Drop of number, did you experience this?

Thought the change of star and earnings are the things that are irregular here in myLot. When I went to sleep last night my number was 907, when I checked my profile it was still 907 but when I joined a discussion it became 899. Funny but true. Is this normal that I lost 8 counts in a single snap?
Have you experienced it also?

I experience it before. My total of post is reduce by 5. So it still better than your. But it won't cause any negative effect to you. MyLot did it to make the site still quality and the reason that I know is because our post has violate the rule. So I accept it and don't blame them.

Mylot admin reviews posts from time to time and deletes any discussion that violates terms of service.
It need not be you that violated terms. It can be any other person responding to the same discussion you answered, the whole discussion gets deleted and as a result your posts and earnings too.
