Are you closer with your mom or dad?

i'm closer to my mom and dad in an equally manner but to say exactlly i'm a little bit closer to my mom b'coz my mother is a professional he does not hav more time to spend with us,he used to be busy always but whenever he is at home v all used to hav good time.i think so the reason to be close to my mom is, i spend most of the time with her wen compared to my dad.

I'm closer to my mom. My dad makes it hard to get close, but overall I'm actually closer to my siblings.

I'm closer to my mom, but thats because my father passed away when I was a little girl, I never really got the chance to know him, I don't remember that much about him, but I do wonder what our relationship would of been like now, if he was still living.

I am closer with my Dad, communication with my Mom is not possible. Maybe we are to much alike, but I just never can live up to her expectations. I know that is important that we find a common ground or i will always regret it.

both my parents passed away this year. i was not close to either one of them. sad but true.

I am actually equally as close to my parents. For a long time it was my mom as me and my dad didn't have a very open relationship growing up because he was so strict. But just in the last few years we have gotten really close and now I feel like I can talk to him about anything. I honestly could chose that I was closer to either now. It's the same.

Hi there! I am also closer to my mom. Though I have not spent so much time with her since I live in our hometown while she lives in the city together with my siblings but still I am more comfortable with her than with my dad. I think children tends to be more closer to their mothers because of the bond that was built since birth. Imagine carrying a child in a mother's womb is already a great bonding moment. Then after we have been born still its our mothers who takes care of us even after we're grown ups. Dads are always out for work so maybe that's one reason why most children don't get to spend more time with dads. Mothers has a special way of caring for their children. Sometimes their way of showing their love is the nagging and scolding. My mom too sometimes scold at me. But I'm use to it Ciao!

I am definitely closer to my mother as she is the one who raised me up, my father is good for nothing, he is womanizer and not good on providing our needs, I was 10 when he first had an affair and then I was 14 when he abandoned us. Now that we are older, he now have 3 kids on his other family and another one form another mistress. as for my mom, I would do anything for her.

I used to be closer to my dad. His solutions to problems were less naggy and he just well....gave us his opinion on the matter. We were left to make the right decisions in the end. THen I got married and had a kid....and got closer to my mum. I think it depends on the role of your life at the current stage. With dad, I was career minded....with mum, I was a mother and a wife.

I am closer to my mom than my dad. I feel like I can tell her a lot more than I tell my dad. She was just always there for me when my brother and I were growing up. My dad drove a truck so he wasn't around very much. I do realize that he was trying to work to make money to support our family. But because of him being gone I wasn't able to get that close connection with him like I have with my mom.

Hi friend ! As i compare i think I am more close to my mom than dad. she helps me in all ways. She guide me and my children and I can talk to her each and every happenings. she clms me when when I am sad abd in tensions. Also she loves every one in the family we all loves her. I am closer with my dad as hez my first friend and he guides me in every instance !!!!! He never commanded me or spoke with me authoritatively and never ever i was afraid seeing him but yet i had some gap with him..!! This all credit goes to my dad who knows how to tackle all!!1

I am, for some reason, definitely closer with my Mom. My Dad and me get along, but we just don't see eye to eye on a lot of things. Where as my Mom, I feel like I can actually talk to her about anything. I have a stepmom as well and very close with her too. I love my Dad dearly and I guess its just hard for me to express it and show him, and Vice Versa. I guess its tough love! He always lends advice about certain situations I may be going through, but sometimes you just won't somebody to not necessarily tell you what you need to do, but console you and give you words of wisdom to where you'll know exactly what to do after talking with that person. I feel like with my Dad that doesn't happen often.
