Are your kids afraid of scary costumes?Since its Halloween, lots of companies or schools are celebrating Halloween party. They wear their best scary costume. Even at the mall, some sales crews are even wearing the scary costume they want to sell. Like, they are modeling it. When we went at the mall last weekend, there are sales lady who are wearing costume, my son was not afraid to go near and actually asked me to take a picture of him with the person. Like in the picture( my son didn’t look at the camera )How about you myLotters, When you go at the mall with your kid/s then see someone wearing costume what do they do?

Kids usually afraid of people who wearing a costume, that's my view for this long they are so funny, even sometimes they are afraid of people who wear a clown costumes The exceptions goes for your kids, i think your kid is one of the brave kids

My daughter is 16 now. She used to be so afraid of costumes when she was younger. She would see someone put a mask on and still be afraid of them even though she knew who it was.

I went to the mall with my son. He got scared of costumes especially the masks with really awful faces with blood. After that, I have explained that they are just wearing those masks to scare him.

My sons are grown now. When they were young and I used to take them places where people were dressed up in such costumes, they would be overexcited. So I guess they never know the meaning of fear.

I do not know yet... it has been weeks since my daughter and i went to the mall... she got sick... then i got sick... so our weekends were spent mostly at home... but everytime we watch cartoons like Scooby Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog... my daughter can be quite frightened... and she would always ask me to cover her eyes... i guess it would be the same when she sees scary costumes...

I only know when i was a kid, i was actually quite scared of all these scary costumes, and even though my mom tried to make me bolder, but still i'm scared of all these.. Even for clowns, i'm scared of them too.. lol =D MUch as i want the balloons, and my mom will always ask me to get it myself.. BUt i guess the fear is too much for me, and i would rather give up the balloons.. lol

Well my son is old enough to get scared. In fact he is now the one scaring the kids for fun! (ha!ha!ha!)! But he was a kid he was never scared of those Halloween costume. He knew they were just fake so instead of getting scared he would even approach anyone wearing costume and would try to see who was inside the costume. (ha!ha!ha!) Naughty kid!

What do you mean kids, I'm afraid of scary costumes. Some of them are so real that they really scare me. That's my first reaction.

Some of the school boards in Ontario Canada are trying to turn Halloween into Orange and Black day so they will not offend anyone whose religion does not celebrate Halloween, whose dietary habits do not include Halloween treats, who are immigrants who do not understand the Halloween celebration and other ridiculous reasons. Kids are afraid of Santa too, and clowns.
