The execution date has been set for the three known as the Bali Bombers. Their bombs killed several hundred people. They were targeting Western tourists but killed many Balinese as well. It is curious that although death as a punishment for any crimes has been banned in Australia for over 30 years, as something no civilised country should impose on anyone, no one is saying that these men should be spared. If this terrorist act had been committed here they would face life imprisonment, not death. What do you think?
