Blogrush has shut down

Just this morning I logged on to my free account at Blogrush to check on my visitor stats. Just a few minutes ago, I checked my email, and there was this notification from Blogrush that it was shutting down. I just checked, and there was nothing there but the same notice of closure. I had subscribed to blogrush just a month ago, and it did bring in a few visitors to my blog. It makes me feel sad that it had to shut down. I liked the service. Very simple presentation, and it did give me a good insight as to which topics/topic titles brought in visits from the target audience. That's the thing that I liked about it - my blog was being promoted to a specific segment of blogosphere. I wish they had at least given their subscribers enough warning time. As it is, I failed to save any of the stats I had there. I'll bet some of my blogging friends who also subscribed to blogrush still don't know about it. And with the notification did I learn that Blogrush was owned by John Reese of Tweeter. Maybe it's time to follow tweeter.
