I wonder how many people feel this way.

My husband recieved an e-mail today asking him to really consider who he will vote for this november 4th. I found this e-mail interesting to say the less. It talked about a company changing its policies because Obama had won. It told the sales people that all sales that they made would be put into a "pool" for everyone to share. So that the underachievers could make as much as those who went out and busted their a$$es. All lower level employess will place their hourly wage, overtime wage, and their bonuses into a pool as well so that everyone gets a "fair shake". That way those who can't be bothered to work overtime can reap the rewards anyway. All "top management" will be refered to as the government. "Top management" will not have to pool their earns because the law doesn't apply to them. The government however will give eloquent speeches each week to encourage the lower level works to work hard "for the good for all". By working hard to "spread the wealth" you are going to be more 'patriotic" to the Ftherland. And lastly, for those who were recently hired you may now clean out your desks. Don't worry about not having a job. President Obama will make sure that you can remain in your home even if you are unable to pay your mortgage. He will make sure you can get foodstamps, heating oil for your home, and free healthcare.
Geez, I guess everyone should know who their going to vote for this Novemeber 4th. I admit that my family isn't rich by any means but I want my children to learn that handouts aren't the way. I want my children to "earn" everything they get in life. I want them to know that hard work does pay off. To appreciate everything they have.
I agree with a lot that was written in this email. I was wondering how others would feel after reading some of what was written in the e-mail. Do you agree that if Obama becomes president these are some of things that will happen?

Interesting email. As I read your post and some other things I have heard Obama say, it reminds me of something that my in-laws lived through. They are Cubans and had lived there for generations. They were business owners and poured much of their wealth back into their communities. For example my wife's grandmother built their local hospital, a health clinic, school etc. Granted they lived in a rather rural area, but they reinvested their wealth to help the community.
Then along came a smooth talking guy. He promised that he would make sure that the government would take care of the people rather than let them be exploited by "big business". He would help them break the shackles of the greedy land owners. He would make all people equal and everyone would have a job and food to eat. Fidel Castro won over the populace with his rhetoric and promises. He was a nobody with a vision and a silver tongue. He SWORE he wasn't a socialist when he was confronted with that charge. He SWORE he was a Catholic and wore a rosary in public after he was accused of being atheist. He SWORE that he was going to make Cuba a global player in world politics. The people believed what they wanted to believe. And they got exactly what they wanted. Everyone is now equal, equally poor. Cuba was a global player as a puppet of the Soviet regime. Everyone has a job, but it is the job that the government has assigned them regardless of their aptitude. He is an atheist. In fact, a relative of ours told us how they indoctrinate the children into atheism. A government representative goes into the classroom and tells all the kids to put their heads down on the desk and pray to god for candy. Then after a few minutes he tells the kids to look up. "Do you have any candy?" he asks. Then he tells them to ask Fidel for candy. And of course then they bring in a big bowl of candy. It may be the only candy they get for quite a while, but the lesson is learned.
I can't help but think that there are strong parallels with Senator Obama's smooth talk and grand promises.
I am not calling him a dictator dp please don't over-react, but there are parallels.

Guardian,
I agree about the parallels. They are so obvious to anyone who will actually take the time to look without the "messiah's" light blinding them!

Politicians always promise us heaven on earth. If they manage to do half of what they promise we would be living in a lot better world. I guess that there is no harm in dreaming. Obama seems a man with a dream. If he manages to put his dream into action it is another story. © ronaldinu 2008

Excuse me, but I took the time to type everything out myself. At no point did I copy and paste. Nor did I type this word for word either. I am sorry that you feel the way that you do.

What a great way to explain his money idea...work your butt off and give it to someone else. Makes you want to run out and quit your job and sit back getting freebies.

KissThis,
How many people would continue to work for a company that had policies like that? I don't even believe you could get most liberals to work in that kind of enviornment. It may be a simple explaination of socialism but it is a good one and it most certainly depicts the direction Obama wants to take this country.
