Dark/Goth Christmas ideas?

We don't normally celebrate Christmas at our house not for religious reasons, but personal reasons.
But, my family and I have decided maybe we would give it a try this year.
Were not quiet the Traditional Christmas family you tend to see in the movies, I'd have to say we are a little on the darkside, perhaps The Addams family would be a better description on my family, he he!
So, my boys and I were at Wal-Mart the other day, and we see this (artificial) black Christmas tree, we looked at each other and said, hey, maybe it's not a BAD idea, he he!
So, we are thinking of giving this christmas celebration thing yet another try.
We have the tree picked out, but can't seem to find the right decorations for our tree. We checked in the Halloween stuff, and not much caught our eye. We found a few keychains (skeletons & coffins) we could turn into ornaments, but that was about it.
Does anyone else have a Goth/Dark Christmas?
Do you have any decorating ideas that you could share with my family? Please!
We are very excited to have found a tree in our style!
Thanks for reading,

Here is a link to a site that has lots of Gothic Christmas Ornaments. http://www.cafepress.com/opheliasart/378074
To make spooky festive pinecones, spray pinecones with a spray adhesive or roll them in a mixture of 2/3 school glue and 1/3 water. Next, sprinkle them with purple glitter. These will go nicely with your black light tree.

Hmmm... good ornaments for a dark Christmas tree? Well, the Halloween section is where I'd probably start. You might also have a lot of stuff already lying around the house that could work. And, of course, look for Nightmare before Christmas items--they have a lot of Christmas stuff normally!
You might also be able to make some of your own Christmas ornaments. You can even buy some kits at the craft store and then just add in some black and silver with the reds and greens they give you. :)

Actually, we looked through all of our Halloween stuff as we were sadly packing it back into boxes for next year. Most of our stuff for Halloween is larger items, mostly lifesized stuff... skeletons, skulls, coffins, pumpkins, tombstones, cauldrons, bats... and then we have tons of stuff for a haunted house, giant ghost, mirrors, tunnels, maze, and bunches of characters for the haunted house. The only things we really found sizable for a tree was stuff from the Haunted House Monster Lab, a few body parts (fingers, eyeballs). And a spiders from the Spider Den, and I had a couple smaller frogs from the Witches Cave. We decided there was nothing worth keeping out for the tree, and we are going to try and figure out some other way of getting this accomplished.
Thanks for adding to my discussion and for your ideas.

I have wanted to have a dark Christmas but my family would never go with it.
The closet I ever got was dressing a Frankenstein as Santa one year.
I would suggest going to a collectible shop. We have one nearby that has odd ornaments. Try ebay you can find anything there. Also go to the big Halloween shops when they have clearance.
How about wrapping Barbwire around white ball ornaments, if you don't have small kids around. You could get some of the Halloween lights to wrap around the tree.
I am sure more will come to me during the day but this is what immediately came to mind.

Frankenstein as Santa, too cute!
Oh yes, I love the barbed wire idea, and I just happen to have some too!
I have Halloween lights already too, another great idea.
Thanks redrover!
