Do you know what the star means?

Hi! friends, I am a new comer in mylot. My posts just reach 100 and I just got a star and has a No. 6 in the middle. But I don't know what the star, the color and the number means. I find that many people have different stars even when they have the same amount of posts. Can you tell me something about the star, color and its number? How can we get different stars? Or do you have the same puzzle as me? Thanks sharing your idea! have a nice day!

I can say that star is indicate your reputation in here. The best one is 10 and the lower one is 1. The colour is only make the different from one number to other number. So you got 6 and you can improve it to 7 then 8 and 9 to 10. So you will get increment when you receive positive rate from other myLotters because of your good response or started discussion. Also you will see your star drop when someone rate you "-". Keep post Happy myLotting...

You can tell your standing by the number on your star. If you get a high number then it means you have a high standing. It helps if you rate others as you make your discussions. Rating has a lot to do with the stars. Cheers!!

The star next to your username represents your mylot reputation. Your reputation rating takes into account various including the Discussion Ratings System (DRS)and is based on a scale of 0 to 10 stars with 10 stars being the highest

It is the notification of your rating of your writings. If you write quality discussion and some of your friends rate your discussion, Your star rating will increase.If any body de-value the rating, it will decrease also.

Welldone, june. That was cool. I start the numbers with 4 when I reach 100 posts. And the next day after that it is reducing to 3 stars. I am having a frustated on it. I was almost quitting myLot when then myLotters here, are giving me a good suggestion to keep on continuing, and never bother the stars. And it just raise up again today. LOL.
