"Chicken Soup For The Soul" is my favorite inspirational series of stories. I have almost all of them, including "...Writer's Soul," and "...Working Woman's Soul." I have other inspirational books like this, such as Martha Bolton (with a touch of humor). It eliminates going to a psychotherapist!!

YES!! I have read quite a few of them and they ARE so inspiring!! I have one that I've been reading, when I have the time to, and it's the military wife's soul and it's really awesome! There are others that I still want to get and in time I will but yes I have read them and I do love them very much! The author has made a fortune off of them, no doubt!

I have read snippets of one of the Chicken Soup books and agree that it is very inspiring. I think that it has helped when I have been depressed or upset over something, and I enjoy reading the stories.

I used to read them all the time. I had the ones for the teenage soul, woman's soul, american soul, and unsinkable soul. Soon I will have the Count Your Blessings one because they are going to publish one of my stories.

Good books! They are really inspiring and what is more beautiful about it, the stories are based on real happenings. We undergo same not totally same experiences in life, it is not just for a chosen few, all of us experience great sorrows and pains, but they were able to surpass it.

I have read a couple of "Chicken Soup for the soul" books and I like them very much. There are some very inspiring and touching stories and a few of the stories actually made me cry. Unfortuneately the "Chicken soup for the soul" books are not easy to find in my country, but some years ago I managed to find some of them in a bookshop in Copenhagen. I have also bought a some of them in the American bookshop in Paris, and I hope to get the chance to buy some of the other books next time I go abroad.
