We have two cats that are polar opposites but the they are the best of friends. One is skinny and one is fat. One is a cuddly, loving teddy bear kind of creature and the other is a total twerp. I could spend hours watching them interact but listening to them has gotten to be a bit of a problem lately. They each sleep in a different bedroom with their favorite humans. We leave the bedroom doors a little ajar and they each leave in the middle of the night and trot downstairs for some quality cat time. After about an hour of socializing, they go back to their respective bedrooms. This used to be accomplished in total silence but for the last week they have been "talking" to each other. It sounds a bit like babies crying and it wakes me up in the middle of the night. It doesn't seem to wake up anybody else in the house and I guess I'll get used to it but I'd sure like to go back to quiet catting around. LOL

Currently just one (and 5 dogs), but there is a stray cat that I've been feeding for the last few weeks- he's slowly building up trust and coming closer to me... so I may have a second cat soon. The cat I currently have was a stray at work- took me two years to finally get him to come to me, and he instantly adjusted to being a house cat lol

I have just one cat right now but I have been contemplating getting a kitten. KIttens are so much fun to be with. They are really cute and sweet. My adult cat is nice too, but he doesn't play the way a kitten does. Kitten's are really fun to watch and to watch grow and develop.

You are right.I totally agree with you.You won't get the joy by playing with cats as you get with kittens.they are active all the time unlike cats.

I have two cats at the moment. An 18yr old Black & White male and a 4yr old Tabby female.
I've had dozens of cats in my life and even used to breed Siamese. I can't remember a time we didn't have at least one! So I guess you could say I'm a real Cat lover.
It's surprising how many cats you can keep in nearly 60 years.

I adore cats! I have 2. Friday a male cat I acquired 12 years ago when he was 6 weeks old and Rosie which showed up on our doorstep Christmas Eve around 4 years ago, starved and thin. She appeared to have been abused or something like that because she was extremely timid and she was particularly afraid of men. Nowadays she is so much better; she's beautiful and affectionate, what a great Christmas present she was! Friday is a little aggressive to others aside from me, but I love him, I love them both, to me they as well be human.

I have 3 cats. One black and white, one all black, and one gray. The b&w and black ones are boys and the gray one is a girl. They all have different personalities, and are all cute and affectionate in their own ways. The b&w one(Casanova) is very independent, but will do anything for a treat. He's more of an indoor cat and doesn't really care to go outside. He can be affectionate at times, by rubbing up against me and he almost always sleeps with me. Casanova almost always needs to be around me, idk why, maybe to see if I'm safe or not. The black one(Saki) is mostly vocal at night time, and his meow is a high-pitched shrill. It can become extremely annoying! But, he's probably the most affectionate. He's very shy around new people and loves almost any kind of food. If someone is eating something, that's basically the only time he'll get courageous and go up to them. He loves to be petted and is and indoor/outdoor cat. When I'm alone on my bed watching t.v. that's when he's most likely to come and snuggle. The last one(Eskimo) is really my sister's cat, but she doesn't really take care of her, so Eskimo adopted me -- so to speak. She is mostly an outdoor type cat, and is very fiesty. She bites and scratches a lot, but she is also very sweet when she wants to be. She'll be turning 1 on Cinco De Mayo and the other two just turned two years old in August and September.

We don't have our own cat but it seems we do have since our neighbor cats want us to adopt them. We now have two cats we feed but not ours since their owners don't care for them. One of the cat gave birth to 4 kittens. They are all cute little creatures. 3 white kittens with brown marks on the forehead and one black with white markings on the body.

I think they are incredible creatures as well. We have six. Zoey is the mother. Then Wolfin, Chumley, Shadow, Midnight, and George. They all have their own personalties and are as different as night and day.

I have two cats of my own and two of my daughters cats. One thing that parents often find happens is that their children move from home and get pets, then their son or daughter moves away, or to a place that doesn't allow pets and where do the pets go? To mum or dad of course. I love all four of them. Their names are Meg, Tigerlily, Ziggy and Arnie.
