Is there someone you hate shopping with?

A lot of the women I know hate shopping with their husbands because the men don't want to be shopping at all. My mom enjoys shopping with my dad, even though he usually shops for things like tools and car parts. And he doesn't mind going with her because he likes to buy her clothes. He really feels more comfortable buying her things. I personally hate going shopping with my sister. I don't recommend it and I'm sure her husband would say the same. : )

I hate shopping with my sister also because the whole thing come to what she wants and wants you to help her while not having time to do the shopping you need to do yourself.

Luckily I don't do it anymore, but shopping with my younger blind brother was impposible. He had to feel each and every item before making up his mind. Understandable but I hated it. Especially around the holidays. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I don't mind grocery shopping with my husband but I prefer to clothes shop on my own so I can take some time before I buy anything. My husband doesn't like clothes shopping with me anyway so it always works out in the end.

Since I am not a shopper and do not enjoy the experience at all, I do not like to go shopping with my mother, sisters or sister-in-laws. They are all shop-aholics. They love to beat the crowds for deals and look for bargains. They shop every aisle of every store. It throws shudders up my spine just thinking about it.

I absolutely HATE shopping with my daughter. She is way TOO picky. Nothing ever fits right or it's ugly or she just seems to look for the higher priced items. UGH I sure hate back to school time.

Is she a teenager? I was just thinking how bad it must have been for my mom to go shopping with me as a teenager.

I really do not like to shop with my mother. She can never seem to make up her mind so she'll wander back and forth and look over the same things over and over again. Even if she can't find what she's looking for, instead of just counting her loses and going to another store or going on to get the other things that she needs, she'll just keep looking again and again and again. It drives me crazy. I usually try to wander off and do my own thing so I don't have to stand with her all day while she makes sure for the 100th time that they don't have the thing that she's looking for.

I used to do that when I was a teenager and was with my dad, I'd wander off. Five minutes later I'd hear someone with a booming voice across the store, "Hey Amber, I'm ready to leave now!" People would look all around for this poor 'Amber' whose father was yelling to with dozens of people around. I was one of those people. I pretended to look for 'Amber' as well.

My husband doesn't like spending too much time when shopping that's why he would rather shop alone or let me shop alone he doesn't like shopping with me because I like going from one shop to another comparing products and prices and then I would go back to the shop that I feel has the product at the best price he would shop either by brand or if he ries one thing and likes it he would go with it again or with similar product from the same company unless the price is twice higher, he would grab it

I don't like shopping with my oldest daughter because it seems that I never get around to doing the shopping that I want to do. We either run out of time or I am so busy helping her with her girls that I forget that I was there to get something, too. I can walk in and tell her that I need to get something and she will tell me when we get home that I didn't tell her. But I am the one who doesn't remember anything. She also is a good one for asking if I want to go with her somewhere and we will end up going 5 places and being gone for 6 hours, when I hadn't planned, or really wanted, to be gone that long. She has gotten me with that more times than one, and I just keep falling for it. It is always about HER and not about anything that I want or am going for.

I absolutly hated shopping with my ex boyfriend. I remember one time he wanted to find a "tupperware-type" bowl and we went into linens &things and were there for 2 hours. I was so frustrated I asked the clerk if they sold beds so that I could nap while he made up his mind lol. In the 10 years we were together, I think I only went shopping with him a dozen times- and that was because I couldn't avoid the situation. I personally don't really like to shop, which is odd since I'm a woman, but when I go into a store I know what I want and I get it and get out.

You get in and you get out, your ex boyfriend didn't know how lucky he was. Didn't he realize you are one in a million? (I'm sure for more reasons than just your shopping style.) : )

My hubby is about the only one that i dont care to shop with. Grocery shopping i can get in out and home in about an hour...alone..lol. with hubby, i can walk in and just picking out soda to buy can take half an hour..the messed up part is..there are aonly about 3 kinds that we will drink...go figure. Clothes shopping or household shoopping is not quite as bad, but he tends to not look at price tags..lol..if it looks good he wants it with clothing and on household things such as tools, appliances, or even small things like bedding or linens..he does the same thing..and we cant afford to shop like that..lol

I can get grocery shopping done quickly too. I love my mom, but going with her can be trying. Or maybe it is me that makes it trying. I go through the store like a woman on a mission. I probably look like I'm power walking with a cart.

I used to go for shopping with my husband. He never say no when I call him for shopping he will choose and bargain with the shopkeeper. But nowadays his not with me so I used to go with my mom or with my sisters. I like to shop with them and they also call me when ever they want to go for it. Happy mylotting and have a good day.

I think my husband would say me, as mall shopping is a nightmare to me. He enjoys shopping and walks very fast. The crowds bumping into me are terrible and slows me down.

I used to love shopping with my Dad even though he gets tired walking round and round just waiting for me to decide what and where to buy, he pays for every thing. Since I started going on shopping(or window shopping) sprees alone, I rarely ask my mom or friends to go with me. I feel comfortable walking around by myself without thinking of the hassle if I bring another person with me. Although there are also times I like going shopping with my mom or one best girl friend I have cos we have similar and some contradicting taste and it's enjoyable. There was this one time though, I can also say the biggest mistake I've made, was when my ex's then-girlfriend asked me out for lunch and ended up going shopping. She just couldn't make up her mind! Worse, she even wants to buy EVRY THING that I get my hands on. What's up with that? It seems she was competing with me in a way and it takes about an hour for her whether to buy the "red or green" top. Really. Plus, she just spends and spends and I'm the one holding tight to my money and really thinking whether it's a good deal for me to buy this certain stuff cos I'm on a budget. We just don't jive. After that, I don't go out with her on any shopping spree or even for lunch. She's just too much to handle.

Hi there AmbiePam! I do not really have problems with shopping with anyone in the family. I also do not have problems with shopping with my boyfriend. The person that I hate shopping with is my cousin Melissa. She is not really patient when it comes to shopping. She also gets into trouble with the sales ladies quite very often because of her bossy attitude.

I also hate shopping with my sister. I do love my sister but cannot stand going shopping with her. I went one time with her and she spends so much money on things that she dosen't even need, so she can brag to all her friends on the great deals she gets. Also she has to cover every single inch of the store even if it is a section that she dosen't need anything from. It is just a total waste of time and money to go shopping with her, which are two things I pride myself in avoiding when I go shopping. That is what makes shopping with my sister so unbareable.

I hate shopping with my husband. Unlike most men he actually likes shopping and loves to go with me. But he takes forever. Something that would take me ten minutes to get would take me an hour with him. He stops and looks at everything for like 5 minutes each. It drives me crazy!
