Halloween is fast approaching, and all the little kiddies will be out trick or treating. How many of you mylotters end up eating the candy that your kids don't want? I know I usually go and dig around in my nephews candy sacks, eating what they will let me have, they won't let me have the good stuff(chocolate)..haha.

I normally go through my kids candy when they get back from trick or treating. My kids candy just gets mixed together in one big bowl. There are some things that they do not like that I end up eating. Other things I don't like and they don't like so it sort of sits around.

I'm not a candy lover. It will hurt my gum dear! My dentist told me to avoid candies and I am very very obedient(Ha!ha!ha!) But I'm not obedient when it comes to chocolates. I'm just imagining it will not hurt my gum because I really can't help eating chocolates even once in a while or in moderation so I'd rather eat the chocolates and leave the candies to the children! (Ha!ha!ha!)

Yes, I know we should all avoid candy for the sake of our teeth, but it doesn't hurt to have a little chocolate once in awhile, yes, its all about moderation dearie...Thanks

The real question here is what candy will I be eating instead of giving out.
I don't have kids trick or tyreating ages so I just dish it out is all.
But each year I end up eating a lot of it.
This year I found myself eating the small boxes of Ike and Mikes I plan on giving out. So did my neice and grandsons this past weekend. Luckily I also have a la=rge bag of Tootsie Pops.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yep, candy isn't safe around you Grandpa Bob, with that sweet tooth of yours..lol. I'll buy some candy but if my husband finds it, it doesn't stand a chance, and he says he don't like sweets...hmm. Thanks...Happy Halloween

My husband and I both find ourselves digging into the kids' candy bags - my hubby makes them trick or treat as long as possible (truly for his own benefit! LOL)

My hubby or I may sneak an ocassional piece of chocolate. But in general no we leave our daughters candy alone. She worked to collect it. She gets to share or eat it.

Of course, parenting has to have some privelages right? Between the three of them my kids usually get more than enough candy so they don't really mind if we eat some. Often we still have candy left the following year from the previous year, so they don't really have a problem sharing their candy with us. We always let each of them choose a few things out of their own bags, that no one else is allowed to touch. That has to be honored and respected by everyone.

Yes, I would think they get plenty of candy between the three of them, and thats a good idea for them to choose a few things for themselves. thanks and Have a good day...and Happy Halloween
