Glasses vs. Contacts

Which do you guys think is better: glasses or contacts? Im asking this because my friend's brother is getting contacts and he wants to know which in the general opinion is better.

While I like the concept of contacts better - I don't like the way I look wearing my glasses, I can't handle putting anything in my eyes - so I am stuck with wearing glasses.

Thats how I am also, I would like contacts better, because you don't have to wear glasses, but I can't put anything in my eyes because they get really irritated, so I'm stuck with glasses too, but if I could choose, I would choose contacts, you can change the color of your eyes and everything with those.
