whats a good digital camera that lasts long?

im looking for a digital camera that affordable, and has a rechargable battery. I take A LOT of shots..no that's an understatement, i take a ridulous amount of pictures to put it in shorter terms. Id also like a camera with a movie capture, and a zoom larger than 6x. Please help me fnd a good camera that will handle the massive amounts of pictures i take in a daily basis. ;) your help it greatly appreciated.

I think they are all basically the same, except in the areqa of digital and SLT digital and the pixels..zoom as well, I love a good zoom, I recently bought a Canon SLR but I bought an extra 200m lens so I guess you should do as i did just go to a camera shop with a list of what you really want and how much you have to spend..

Thank you, but im paranoid about going into camera shops without knowing what exactly what i want becaus they tend to talk a LONG time and try to get you to buy the more expensive things. Ive been scammed before at a camera shop, so i would want to know the price and brand. I think i'll do as you say and walk into a shop though since i need it by tomorrow. Thanks for your help! ;)

massive amounts eh?.. well you need help from expandable memory cards for that.
you really need that 6x zoom? Speaking of affordable, I'll go for canon Powershot series. The A650 IS has all your need but it requires 4 AA batteries. But for the A2000 IS has all of the above, just 2 AA batteries but I don't know if it's affordable. just visit www.canon.com if you're into canon products. more power
