if you have children like me you know that you have broken crayons everywhere. I just found a neat way to recycle them. if you have a muffin pan or some other tin molds, grease it up really good around the sides or use veg. oil. peel off paper from crayons and put about 4 in each mold. preheat over to 300 degrees and bake/heat for about 20 min. remove and let cool for about 10 min. the freeze for 15-20 min. they are great for toddlers because they are bigger. here's a picture of the ones i just made.
and if you don't have children but know someone who does they are great gift ideas just pair them with a coloring book and you have a creative fun gift for toddlers.

That's pretty cool. My kids would get a kick out of this.

My mother ran a nursery school for years, and she used to do this. Instead of using just the pans with oil, she'd actually put the crayons in muffin paper, and then just peel the paper off after they were baked.
