Everyone suffers from an occasional bad mood.I have developed a list of helpful hints for dealing with depression.
1,I have learned to do is keep a mood diary.About 4 times a day,I jot down a one-word description of my mood at that moment--sad,tired,frustrated,happy,and so on.Then I ask myself questions like "What event preceded this mood? Have I just eaten a lot of junk food or drunk a lot of coffee?Have I felt this way before?"After keeping this diary for a while,I have begun to see patterns to my moods.I've found for example that consuming a lot of salty foods like chips makes me feel tense.
2,I have taken is to exercise everyday.Exercise seems to prevent depression, and it also helps me sleep better.I can also overcome depression by giving myself a small treat those times when my spirists are under the weather, for instnace,I will go to a moive, listen to a record,or to try on a new shirt.
Hope this can help you!!!!!!!!!

Hello
When a bad mood and a stressful day comes along I wish I could just go to bed and sleep it off and if only it were that easy , ya know ?
Sometimes, just talking to my best friend will help with my mood somewhat .
Sometimes blasting music will help too .
During the summer swimming was my peace, my moment away from everything , and so was going for a nice long walk .
I cant do that as much now and that is hard
When the weather is nice I plan for a hike or a walk . Right now I am looking into joing A gym for my mood and always to stay active . I seem to gain all my weight back that i lost over the summer and I am sick of it .I want to find a place with a pool too , but that seems to cost so much money .
Thanks for the post /made me rem how important it is to really join and do more

I like your idea of keeping a mood diary. Just thinking about your mood at certain times of day should help you become more aware of yourself and help overcome depression. Exercise is always a good idea too!

I know how you feel. I have had my moments of negative moods lately too.
Though I'm not particularly sure about it, there are times when I notice that whenever my blood sugar is high, then I get easily pricked.
Anyhow, what I usually do is take long cold showers or sleep. It usually helps for me since I would not have any moment where I could fight with someone over something so petty.
Exercising does help a lot, and if you're really in a bad mood, try boxing (in the gym of course) at least you'd have the reason to punch harder than usual, and I tell you it's satisfying!
