Definitely the worst in recent decades. When your administration is more corrupt than Nixon's, that's impressive.

DJB - I'm proud to be an American as well. I'd really like you to provide a link to an actual quote of a Democrat saying "I want to cut and run from Iraq", that isn't purposefully taken out of context. George Bush was a great leader for 10 seconds after 9/11. That's it. "Well I can hear you...", and then it was over. Okay, I'll be fair and say a week. Before that, after that, and beyond, he's been no better than pathetic. Frankly, I am ashamed of both Bush and his administration. Outside of the thirty something percent of you who seem to worship him, he has no credibility, no respect, and no admiration. So what do you do? The only thing brainwashed people CAN do - attack, attack, attack. Same as you did with Clinton, attack, attack, attack, and it's still not enough to cool your hatred of him. And only now it's wrong to be opposed to a president, huh? So go ahead, do what the party of hate does so well...attack, attack, attack.

I am proud to be an American. I'm not ashamed and feel no need to apologize to the world. George Bush has been a great leader in the war on terror. So many Democrats want to pretend there is now war. They just say, "Let's cut and run and have a party" Certainly no leadership there.

He all the talent as a president. Basically i thought he is a shorttemper and good thinker. He thinks very fast and he doesn't change his decision if he take once. He is fit for his job. He is such a brave man.

I haven't read through this whole thread but remember - Presidents are Selected not Elected. Boy George is there because 'they' wanted him, not because anyone else did. Who are 'they'? Try researching things like the NWO, Bildeberg Group, Black Pope etc to find out. In fact it is George Bush Senior and his cohorts (Kissinger for one) who is pulling the strings. In fact Bush senior has been the longest serving President of all time, first as VP when he was really running the show, then through his own terms, then manipulating Clinton (via Kissinger) and now with his son. Frightening stuff if you bother to dig around.

President George Bush has done a great job, especially when the anti-America liberals have been fighting him every step of the way. The liberals have just adopted the "We hate Bush" campaign platform and that is all they know. There is not better alternative for policy, there is no plan brought forth. When you run the campaign on "We hate Bush", what do you do if you win the election? I guess you just stand there with your hands in your pockets.

Yes he is really stupid enough to ruin America's image the world over. Americans are now more frightened and their liberties now are being taken away. That is one side of the picture. The other side is how he has started a war to benefit his 'Carlyle company' and the millions of shares he had in the oil business personally. That is what leadership is all about...you manipulate with the masses and in the end get gains for yourself...!

Very well said. The entire game of this war is a game to get oil. I wonder why the president of the most powerful country is not held accountable. Something should be done. This is too much of madness to goon for so long.

I'm not American and I can't tell from the citizen's point of view. But as a foreigner that his politics have impact to the rest of the world, I think he is the worst ever. At least the rest before him, respected their citizens' wishes.

I don't think he is the greatest President we have ever had, but I do think he has faced some of the USA's biggest disasters and has had to make choices he felt was the best for the country. I do feel he made the choices he felt was correct...without becoming a prisoner to slanted polls or people who don't bother to know the facts. I read thru this thread and really wonder who all these people are who make judgement calls with no basis or facts to back up their opinions. I find it scary that they can vote. I guess they read Blogs or watch retarded azzed documentaries...and in this they consider themselves worthy of opinion.

I do not see any seriousness in the replies trying to belittle a President who has done his bit for safeguarding the interest of the world and its occupants. It is easy thrusting your own views as if you had complete know-how of what things would develop into. In order to make a proper assessment it is important that we place ourselves in his shoes, reminisce the disastrous consequences of 9/11 (which too has come under the discovery of a manipulated/set up incident for some very genius persons), the days that followed with terrorists practically hijacking the sanctity of the world and the innocents who were being targetted for no fault of theirs. It is absurd to think of the catastrophe wrought by the misguided elements as a set up incident amd such comments would act as an irritant to a nation and a President, who is trying to get himself composed, having to tackle the hell-bent elements in to succumbing to pressure by the nations and leaders of the present day world. When a person holding a position of a President of a Super Power, has to take decisions on the spot, whereas his mind is seized of the calamity and its repercussions,(he too is a human who despite his endeavour to safeguard the nation and the world from greater catastrophes befalling the world, will automatically feel the tremendous constraints of (i) giving the terrorists a fitting reply and (ii) to project the strength of the world in the proper degree and measure for which offensiveness will always be the answer and he has done it. It is another matter that the world did not cooperate with US on many counts and the greater powers (Rusia and China had to be coaxed in to going by their line of thinking. Such situation would amount to walking on the knife edge, for which grit and determination is required and he has shown in abundance. Where he failed is only due to the wanton aggresiveness by late Saddam who crossed all norms of international charter by annexing Kuwait, which was repulsed by the senior Bush. The aftermath of that set back suffered by Saddam was taken up by Iraqi leadership to suppress US and much to his dismay, did not succeed. Hence, Saddam's wrath by his reference to US as invaders. Do you think that Kuwait (a nation that was mauled up by Saddam) would also apply the same yardstick in describing US?There is a limit to taking the logic to any lengths once the situation has reached a point of no return. But even at this juncture, it is not in the fitness of things to reverse the decisions taken earlier, but rather it is imperative that US and allies project their determination to annihilate the terrorists and their maeniacs/accomplices with determined attempts and efforts. Belittling a President who is seeking to overturn the tables over the terrorists with the limited resources, would only amount to gnawing into the advantages already derived through so many years of war. It is also essential to remember that destruction is easy (that is what the terrorists are doing) but safeguarding the human kind is hard. Will it not be easy for US and the allies to bomb the whole of Iraq and eliminte the terrorists at one go? Do the readers who are slamming US or President Bush now after so many years of war against terrorism aiming to manipulate public opinion to resort to such methods? Or, have they decided to live with terrorism to have their own brothers and sisters and families annihilated under the volley of terrorists bullets?

At least he got a balls. He made a stand against terrorism and Sadam. He havent back down regardless of the polls. Better to have someone like him in a office than someone who goes back and forth over the decision making. yeah, his plans didnt go as smooth as he plan and still has a long way to be complete but at least he is making some progress. But hey, Im Japanese so what do I do, I cant even keep up with my own county...... lol

From the US News and World Report, a White House insider says "Presient Bush is still a funny, earthy guy who, for example, can't get enough of fart jokes. He's also known to cut a few for laughs, especially when greeting new young aides." That's sad. It's just plain sad.

MaddisMom - the fart quote was not meant to be an all-compassing indictment of Bush, and I think you understand that. Nonetheless, I think a majority of people are much more hip on the issues than you give them credit for, and the polls reflect that. The issues are (and not limited to): the war in Iraq, the diminishing quality of life for the middle class and the poor, health care costs, energy, immigration, social security, and the national debt. There are some who consider the only issues to be abortion and gay rights, but those are the only issues they've been exposed to. With the war in Iraq, Bush now claims he never meant "stay the course" despite shouting it at everly press conference for the last 2 years. Within his present claim, he is in fact a liar, pure and simple. Further, he misled the American people with intelligence that his own administration knew was not the most accurate intelligence, he entered Iraq with a poorly designed war plan, and he's done a terrible job implementing it. The diminishing quality of life for the middle class and the poor - maybe you live where the sun is still shining, but for many of us, life is not what it used to be when it comes to income and expenses. More people live in poverty, more people are an accident away from nowhere to turn. Meanwhile, we've watched the rich get richer. Health care costs - the number of people without health care insurance went from 15% in 2004 to 16% in 2005. I see my own premium increasing an average of 25% every year. In 3 years, I will not be able to afford the premium. Yet Bush can only see his way to benefiting the corporations. Energy - until a year or two ago, Bush was advocating consumption. We still have tax breaks for people buying large SUVs. Smart, real smart. Immigration - Bush supports amnesty for illegal aliens, and he's unwilling to force employers to be legal. Social security - Bush's privatization idea didn't even fly with the rubberstampers he had in congress. Need I say more? National debt - spend, spend, spend...let someone else worry about it. So there are some issues for you. And remember, if it smells like someone just cut one, Bush can't be far away.

Oh please?? He's a bad President because he likes fart jokes? Give me a break!! The sad thing is, I'm willing to bet that a majority of people that think he is a bad president has no idea what the issues really are.
