the first time i tried riding a banana boat was last year when my officemates and i went on a summer trip to puerto galera, oriental mindoro, philippines. it was really fun and exciting.
it took around 15 minutes. it was kind of scary at first because you will be brought to the deeper part of the beach and get thrown away from the boat by a sudden turn. we only had one drop since some of my friends requested for it. it should have been 3 drops.
anyway, we still had a lot of fun and it is surely was a wonderful experience.

i'm really glad good to see more and more Pinoys here in myLot.. i've just come back from almost a year of inactivity and it's a good thing that myLot didn't delete my profile from the system..
i haven't tried riding a banana boat yet but i've put that in my to-do list. next time i'm in galera, that's the first thing i will do! :)
happy myLotting! :)

Hi rose,
I haven't tried it but I have seen people who really enjoy it when I was in Boracay with office mates! I can tell that it's a lot of fun and excitement!
Hopefully, next visit, I can give a try! LOL!

Hi there my friend. I must admit that i have seen it many times when i went to the seaside, but i was always afraid of the damn thing, and i am still am - i think the fact that i can't swim also is a set back even if they provide you with those vests.

Yeah i have been on a bannana boat. I went on it last year when me and my family went to puerto plata, dominican republic. It was really fun and at first it was quite smooth, and so the speed boat driver coaxed us into doing some wonderful arm aerobics, and then to true nature of the holiday prankster type, he rapidly sped up and did lots of sharp turns, throwing us all into the see. I think bannana boats are great for everone, well except for those with an easily disturbed stomach. ha ha ha :)

Hey! Yeah, I've tried a banana boat ride with my friends. Well, it was just a small one and there were just 3 of us. Our lady friend was one of us and she was so afraid of the water. At first the boat was pulled very slowly but my other friend informed the one pulling the boat to drop us at least once. It was fun! It's a bit scary though because I was thrown quite afar. oh, we were in Subic Bay at that time.
